I really don’t feel like doing anything but writing my story, but too bad, so sad. Shower, then laundry and packing.

Why am I always cold? I would love to be warm somewhere other than my million layers of blankets.

Think like Shrek, layers and things to perk up the metabolism. You have a good blood count, yes? Oooor, you could move to the crazy state of Texas and be warm most of the time, not now when we've got down to 32 last night but most of the time it's nice here.

Blah, packing. -__- I'm only going for a few days, why do I keep adding more things to my bags?

When you figure out the answer, lemme know, cause I'm having the same problem.

I have many more shirts than pants. This always happens, there must be something wrong with me. ::sigh::

Nah, unless there's something wrong with both of us. I take like, four pairs of pants and fifty shirts. Then there's the hoodies and cardigans and all, cause I'm always cold and like layers.

Yeah, my parent's house is always cold (it is an old and drafty home), so right now I have a hoodie and my gray sweater and I'm taking my winter jacket and I'm debating whether I need my jean jacket too or if I should pack another sweatshirt.

Goblin can attest, bloody Florida is getting down into the 50's in the mornings and at night. Freaking COLD. If I had balls they'd be frozen off by now. :(

Shit, I'd take fifties. It drops to the twenties here, now.

Very true, same here.

Except I have to remind myself that FL has absolute crap for heating. A/C they can do. Heating? They suck donkey balls at that. When it's fifty outside, it's fifty inside too.

What I'd kill for is their freaking sunshine. I haven't seen the gd sun in what feels like weeks. ;_; I iz not a vampire!

*cough* Hopefully where ever you're going it will at least be slightly warmer?

*snugs* Have a good trip!

I guess I have it pretty nice in CA. o.O *gets a lesson in perspective*

Do you have a down comforter? Layer that over your sheets and you should be snug as a bug! Add a cup of hot cocoa and a good book and you get my favorite Christmas pastime. XD

BUT WE ARE THE ALLIGATOR PEOPLE. WE DON'T LIKE THE COLD. OUR BODIES TEND TO STOP WORKING ONCE IT HITS THE 40s, AND DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT SURVIVING THROUGH OUT HARSH NIGHTS. ;____;

I think washington will be worse, but hopefully I shall not be leaving the nice warm hotel ^___^

I have a down comforter, and trust me, I know how to layer my bed - but I can't stay in bed all the time, and the house is old and drafty. That's where the problem lies.

I'm not sure if I'm the only one that mentioned this and I'm not sure if it was intentional, but what happened to your lj layout?

Date: 2008-11-26 03:12 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] maderr.livejournal.com

...it was intentional...I was playing around with it, waiting for my laundry. Not really done, but it'll have to do until my return.

Oh hey! Just in case...if you are checking luggage, be careful because a lot of airlines are charging now to check bags. I flew Northwest in October, checking one bag thinking that you know, one bag--they won't charge for that. Wrong. $15 bucks.

If you can, try to carry on?

<333 Happy Thanksgiving!!

Okays, I was making sure. You know how sometimes you go online and then you look at you layout of something (not necessarily lj) and go, "wtf just happened? when did this happen?" yeah.

It was weird! I went to leave the house for work in my flipflops like normal, and had to go back inside to hunt down some actual shoes. Though it is kind of nice being able to wear flipflops for most of November to work when you leave at six thirty. Most places I'd be missing a few toes from frostbite by now.

And, uh, yeah, I'll shut up now. Mostly that just boils down to yes, Texan falls are quite nice. *poofs back into the ether*
