Yes! They are *HUGEMUNGEOUS* To get a solid weave you have to use 4-5 strands of yarn at a time ^______^ They are called Speed Stix!

8 is a nice versatile size! I have a pair of bamboo 7s I love using. I got addicted to bamboo and I haven't looked back since. The 50s are the only thing that I can only get in plastic.

A clue for size? Your 8s are 5mm in diameter, my 50s are 25mm in diameter XD HUGE. They aren't as versitle as a lot of needles but they are super quick and pretty fun to use.
