The question is, what?

The Beast is 68 pages in, and probably will be right around 100 when I finish. I need to stop thinking up shit that winds up being long x.x

Somebody come make dinner for me.

In deference to your icon, I totally think you should write something with Rook and Noor. Mmm, pretty icon. ^___^

Drabble suggestion: Brightleaf! :D

I would love to come and make dinner for you. I like cooking and baking; I just don't like eating them as much.

I think I'll just stick to my usual shout of Bey, Aki, Witcher....

Or, you could do a drabble of that dragon one with the incubus and the nobleman buying them temporarily to get the King back but he will set them free....yeah, that one. I hope you know which one I'm talking about. Was it even finished? I can't remember....

No...

I don't think it was, actually. And sorry about the anonymity, I don't have my own LJ... Yet.

Did it even have a name? Because I have the kind of can't-remember feeling that suggests to me there's nothing to remember, although I may be wrong. But a drabble about it would be good! I also support the Rook/Noor suggestion or anything Black Magic, or maybe Gael/Noire.

Okay, I found it. You mean http://maderr.livejournal.com/704175.html#cutid2 ? It's called 'Unbreakable' so I was wrong about that.

Dieter/Beraht or Preston/his vampires - because I simply adore those stories!

Sahayl/Isra would be nice, too. Or, you know, you could go all the way and do Sahayl/Isra/Shihab/Bahadur. Yummy foursome. ^-^

Soon as I stop feeling like death warmed over I'll be commenting on stories themselves, promise.

It's called Unbreakeable, and no it's not finished

It's also not tagged, so it took me awhile to find it. Would you like me to give you the links for it?

But! I still love that one too and wish she'd finish it. :D (Of course, if she gives me five minutes and something else shiny to read...I'm so easily distracted. XD)

The lack of tags would explain how I missed it.

random drabble idea:

a character without a name painting in a sunlit apartment with his cat for company thinking about how the sun is nice, and oh, so is the guy who works in the cubicle next to him at work in his soulless, soulless company, and he ends up painting the guy without really meaning to and resolves to ask the guy out the next day and finishes the painting and settles down for a nap with his cat. The end.

(no plot, just drifty thoughts -- that makes it easier to cut off, as a 'slice of life')

Man, you people have got to find better stuff to read than my awful failures.

Your awful failures are great. I mean, it's sorta torture if they're not finished (like dwtd necromancer). But the stories are wonderful.

Can I ask the drabble to take on more of the form of finishing it? :) Ples, thnx.

I believe I said in the original post that I didn't like it, that I thought it sucked. I've long said before I was giving up on it. So, no, I'm sorry, I'm not going to just up and randomly finish it atm.

Oh, sadness. Well, I liked it, but I know where you are coming from. Some of my stories I would cheerfully burn. That's how it goes with writing. If you ever do end up finishing it, know that it doesn't suck at all and you have some avid fans. :)
