I have been a bad author lately, and I know it. I'm sure plenty of people have wandered off. I am engrossed in Wizard's First Rule atm, but after that, I shall cease to slack.

Did work on Unbreakable a bit this morning, though, hmm.

Nah, it's fine.

I must admitt, waiting for my favorite authors to write up wonderous new stories has instilled a great patience within me. XDD

Just joshin' ya. Update whenever, I'll lap it up. It's like a very pleasant surprise, when I get an update. XDD

Wizards First Rule is good, but I got really bogged down by the second book. If you like the Wheel of Time series you'll like the others. Otherwise I'd stop with the first.

It's fine, isn't it? I think most of us are still here. ^^

There are perhaps six people in all the world I trust implicitly when it comes to book recs. Two of them told me to read this series, and they had awesome reasons why I would like it. Fantasy takes patience, that's for certain. But, I've read Tad William's Other World series twice. So far, I really like it, and I'm dying to see what the other two mean about the beauty of book ten. So, I can see why you would get bogged down, and I appreciate the warning, but I'm already too addicted I think to give up.

Bah. I've always had patience. I find a good author, and then I sit and patiently wait until the stars burn out for updates. Besides, it's not like I go online every day, because I have school, and my actual life, and a hell of a lot of books that I bought over winter break that I didn't finish before winter break ended...*sweatdrop* Plus you're awesome. Even if I don't comment often, I still read your posts, and you're still on my Coolest Authors Ever List(I have to have a list because I can never pick just one favorite author/book). So there. Be cheerful, dammit! I don't like it when people feel sad and guilty! BE HAPPY OR I WILL SMACK YOU WITH MY HAMMER OF JOY!!

I suddenly feel like a trooper for reading through to book five. XD By then various things about the author pissed me off enough that I gave book 6 a big middle finger and haven't looked back.

Wizard's First Rule was definitely a good book, though. Definitely.

I'll be interested to see how far you make it. It's excellent writing, an awesome world, and great characters, but around book 5 or 6, when there had been about 3 800 page books with 798.5 pages each of extreme angst, I had to stop. (And no, I'm not exaggerating. The book I stopped with was angst from page 1. Towards the end, they were happy for a page and a half and then bad stuff happened, tore people apart, and we were back to the extreme angst.)

Ah, I really like that book too! But the series sort of dragged on in later bits...
