It keeps scaring the crap out of me. It's finally melting, which means it keeps sliding and crashing down from the roof and stuff--and it always sounds like OMG THERE IS SOMEONE UPSTAIRS for the second before I remember it's the fsking snow. Kinda funny, really, though it wasn't the first time it did it last night and I was all alone in the house, ahahahahaha.

Hey, my yard is a solid patch of ice, no matter what the roommates and I do to break it up. And you have to go round the house to get to the basement entrance, so I'm tempted to bring ice skates with me every time I leave the house.

Snowed here too. School was cancelled for the entire week, which, in other words, means five make-up days in the summer. Add that on top of the days cost by Hurricane Ike's remnants, and that's 10 freaking days to make up.

...I'd probably be in a state of panic if this wasn't my last year. ^^

OMG that would freak me out.... random thumpy noises always freak me out until I know what they are (and usually it's an overambitious cat on the roof or something; it doesn't tend to snow here.)

I hope that the snow stops making scary noises, or that your mind stops registering them as a threat. **patpat**

Yes, this is a very freaky sound. It's totally unique, I haven't heard since the last ice storm. It scares the shit out of my cats. You're somewhere close to me, I guess, *tries to remember* Cinci? *is in Lexington* Anyway, it will quit soon, and doesn't tend to hurt anything. :) Except our nerves!
