My next major goal is to write about a sex secretary. How awesome and omfgkillmea job would it be to keep track of which concubine the emperor needs to service? It's kind of hilarious. So am doing something with that, at some point. ahahahaha.

Your right, that does sound awesome, and also it makes a lot of sense and would probably very much exist in a country/society in which the ruling class (or just the upper ruler) has many many sexual partners.

That would be brilliant and hilarious. And I think I'd probably hate to have that job, so much paperwork and organisation, then tie in bitchy concubines and favouritism from the emperor and it would all just be one giant headache. :P

I like your choice of wording. It really makes it sound like part of the emperor's itinerary. Morning: Break fast with foreign diplomats, then listen to reports on state of empire. Noon: Dinner with wife. Early afternoon: Read over and sign in laws/treaties. Late afternoon: Service the concubines. Evening: Attend supper and ball for visiting royalty.
