Meant to get alot done this weekend, but so far have accomplish NOTHING.
Hopefully today I can get a little bit accomplished, but we'll see.
In other news, I have too many coffee creamers, but they're all so fun. Coffee mate has this World series that I like and so far I have the Italian Sweet Creme, the Italian Hazelnut Biscotti, Parisian Almond Creme, and Belgian Chocolate Toffee. My coffee is taaaasty.
Now to see if I can actually get some friggin' work done.

No, I still seem entirely human. It could be a delayed reaction, though.

Date: 2009-04-05 08:00 pm (UTC)Then again, it's funny. Over here we add taste additives to the coffee. You add it to the milk.

Date: 2009-04-05 08:16 pm (UTC)real milk in coffee is grose. Coffee needs cream, or something very close to it. Hence, creamer. And we do all of the above? We flavor the coffee, we can add flavor, or use flavored creamers. Mostly depends on person and style of coffee.

Date: 2009-04-05 08:21 pm (UTC)I love playing with creamers during flight-time, though. They make awesome swirlies.

Date: 2009-04-05 08:23 pm (UTC)Well, it's fine for all the espresso type drinks - lattes, mochas, all of that. I mean, you're supposed to use real milk for those. But in standard drip coffee? Milk does not work correctly. It really makes the coffee taste gross. Cream is much, much better for it.
Swirlies...???

Date: 2009-04-05 08:29 pm (UTC)Ooh, drip coffee. That explains stuff. I've . . . never had drip coffee. Just the mud/Turkish/Arabic, the instant and the espresso types, and God only knows I'd never put anything dairy-like in mud/Turkish/Arabic.
I'll remember to add drip-coffee to that list. Thanks. :D

Date: 2009-04-05 08:31 pm (UTC)I know what a swirly is - I didn't get how the heck you made them with creamer during flight.
Ugh, instant coffee. That shit is the nastiest thing on the face of the planet.

Date: 2009-04-05 09:07 pm (UTC)And hey! True, some instant coffee isn't worth being paid to drink, but there's some good instant coffee our there that's very similar to espresso. It really depends on the brand.
