Rant? on Sirius/Remus

maderrSo I reread PoA last night. The first time I read it I was in full omg what's going to happen next? mode, and then I reread it awhile back...rereading it now I'm remembering some pretty important stuff and I'm annoyed at the fandom more than ever.
As much as I like fluff, it has little or no place in HPdom. I mean it can be made to work but not easily or immediately. Especially with Sirius and Remus.
However, having them entirely mad at each other and not forgiving one another for thinking the other was a traitor, etc. just doesn't work. Now, Remus being pissed off b/c Sirius is (not)dead is something else. But I'm focusing on the whole traitor thing. Reading PoA, they're not mad at each other.
"Remus!" Pettigrew squeaked, turning to Lupin instead, writhing imploringly in front of him. "You don't believe this...wouldn't Sirius have told you they'd changed the plan?"
"Not if he though I was the spy, Peter," said Lupin. "I assume that's why you didn't tell me, Sirius?" he said casually over Pettigrew's head.
"Forgive me, Remus," said Black.
"Not at all, Padfoot, old friend," said Lupin, who was now rolling up his sleeves. "And you will, in turn, forgive me for beliving you were the spy?"
"Of course," said Black, and the ghost of a grin flitted across his gaunt face.
Personally? I think that's mostly the end of it. I've seen men apologize to each other, and if I'm wrong ,correct me but especially with friends like these guys are supposed to be it seems that's all there is to say. Sure there are wrinkles to smooth out but I would say this part is done with. I don't get why people drag it out. Granted these days most focus on the fact that Sirius is dead(like fucking hell he is! denial! denial! still alive bitches!), but I see the whole "you didn't trust me" thing often enough it annoys me. They may have issues to work out but this isn't one of them.
Switching topics, I still love Snape. He's been a fav since book one. And you can sooo see the potential of him and at least remus in PoA - a triangle b/t him, Sirius and Remus isn't really a stretch.
I so wish I could write as well as this woman. Le sigh.

a) It all depends on how passive agressive you think Remus is as a character. Do you take him as he is, or is he the kind of guy who gives lip service in a tense situations?
b) Trusting Sirius after the shrieking shack incident with Snape is one of the biggest gripes most people would voice for justification against R/S. I think a lot of the repetition you see in ironing out those details and working through that old (ancient hisoty) incident (and bringing up a lot of the whole 'traitor' issues) has a lot to do with a reaction to those criticisms.
c) It's just fun messing around with Remus's sense of trust, who he trusts, and why he'll trust them. ^-^;;

I used to know a lot more than this, but when they started cracking down on NC-17 fics, they made it next to impossible for me to find them anymore. *makes disgruntled face* Here are two that I liked that I could find...I'm going to have to go a-hunting around lj to see if I can scrounge up some more. When done right, I really love this particular threesome, although, I'll be the first to admit it's hard to come by someone who likes all three and will give each of them a decent characterization. X_x
I love this one of Fabula Rasa's If you can't get into restricted there, I think it's here under the title "Under the Influence".
I've been trying to find the Snape Fuh-q Fest, but the website's being a bastard. There were a couple that I liked there that I really liked. Here's one that I liked a lot though from that fest.
