I don't know how true it is or not in the end, since there seem to be a lot of arguments - but it seems that goofy sausage thing might possibly could be used to hack into your lj? It seems better to at least mention, though it doesn't seem especially worrisome. But a thanks to white_aster for givin me the heads up.
