Friday so far

maderrNot very exciting. Everyone around me seems to be having a very long day.
Am currently making an attempt at a sci-fi story. There are two in my head, and this first is a trial run for the infinitely more complicated second. We'll see how it turns out once I finish it.
Have also finalized my list of stories for the 12 Days of Christmas thing I'm plotting. Will have to start writing those soon if they're all going to be finished in time, especially as a few are going to be pretty lengthy.
Should get back to my chaptered stories. But for once I'm having luck with short stories, so I may as well run with it 'til it dies.
Spent a good two hours pouring over Kerry's speech last night with my sister. Overall was not very impressed. But I won't go into it, I already had my rant of the week.
Two pots of coffee so far today. Probably not a good thing. A third is not unlikely. Know that's not a good thing.

This is what the latest weather thing said as of now.
SATURDAY: Mostly cloudy with periods of showers and thunderstorms especially early. Decreasing afternoon clouds. High 82.
It's possible we might not get too much rain in the afternoon. Of course, brimstone could fall from the sky or an asteroid could blow off the atmosphere too.
SATURDAY NIGHT: Partly cloudy and dry with patchy fog developing. Low 67.

...I get a lot of pleas for that story O_o whacky, considering that it's barely got anything written so far. I guess that's what I'll be doing tomorrow.
Fanart? How precisely does one say no to that? I've yet to figure it out.

Date: 2004-07-30 09:13 pm (UTC)Heh. The coffe pot I have here is only a little one - 4 cups. I used to drink a whole pot every morning back home, and that one was 12 cups.
When I say I'm addicted, I'm not exaggerating. I get headaches if I don't drink at least the 4 cups a day.

Date: 2004-07-30 09:17 pm (UTC)Though the first week was rough, I decided to cut all caffeine out of my diet last fall (at least the aforementioned type). I don't know why. Just because I could.
This week I was hitting the coffee though.
I wasn't kidding though when I had a cup of coffee though a few weeks back and felt like my heart was going to explode for a few hours. Felt like a panic attack, not that I'd had one before. Somebody at work must have dumped the whole coffee can into the mix!
