Wow am I tired.
Aug. 9th, 2004 07:45 pmThough most of that is due to the fact that I didn't fall asleep 'til two am.
The job is pretty mind-numbing. Make that mind-killing. There is no real thought required for it at all. I get to wear jeans, sneakers, and my discman. I restock occasionally but most of my time is spent going down a bunch of isles and filling orders for various stores. I pick watches off the shelves, throw them in a box, and when I'm done with a store I give it to packaging and go on to the next store.
Once I'm able to drive, I plan on going in at seven, skipping lunch, and going home at three. Can't really beat that, even if at times I bet I'd like to bash my brains in. The job is tedious, but it's not heinous. I think I can manage it for a little over a year (or, hahaha, until Ikon finally calls me).
Perks! Two new Sparrington fics to read,
silverthunder updated her orignal fic Game Over . It's shaping up to be an awesome story, so go read.
And!!!!
jagen13 sent me two Fanmix volumes and the cutest magnet ever (based on the speed racer icon she made and let me use ^_^>. which reminds me I finally came up with story ideas for *both* the doujins I'm supposed to be writing for. If I can knock out all else this week, *those* are my weekend project. If I don't have both rough drafts by Monday, I will hate myself for a long long time.
And now I am going to eat my Messy Rice and drink my smirnoff and read all these lovely stories before cracking down on lj catch up and writing.
