BLECH. Spiders are ick. *shudder* I can't kill them though, it makes me feel bad.... If I find one I scoop it up with a piece of paper and RUN screaming BLEEEEHHHH out the door and throw it outside before it can crawl up onto my hand.
You are far braver than I. I stare at them until I'm convinced they won't attack me while my back is turned, then go find the nearest brave person and order them to get rid of it. I don't care if it lives or dies, just so long as it can't attack me while I'm not looking.
I either kill spiders or say, "hi" and ignore it. Killing spiders means letting the other bugs they would kill live. Generally, I only worry about the big, scary ones. About the only thing that make my skin crawl are roaches and parasites. Well, and spiders - which makes me wonder why I can sometimes get along with them.
I try not to kill them because that would bring The Monk down.
