Last night went to a Weird Al concert - I enjoyed it muchly. He puts on a good show. The only thing that sucked was the comedian that opened for him. When the audience isn't laughing, there's a problem. Blah.

Al and his band rocked - mostly I just enjoyed how well he played with his band - does that make sense? They were a team, and it showed.

Poor JD had a headache, but otherwise it was fun. We even got to ride a couple of coasters before the concert started (It was at King's Island). So that totally rocked; all in all not a bad weekend.

Now I leave momentarily for my new job! I get to take the bus into the Horrible Downtown, then make lots and lots of copies and sort mail for the nice lawyers. I'm glad I finally have a use for all the business-y clothes I bought ages ago. Added bonus, the bus rides to/back should give me plenty of time to write out stories/ideas. I am *really* hoping to knock out a lot of stuff this week, and spend what little of my weekend is free typing it all up. I guess we'll see how it goes.

He did that one and FAT!, Eat It, Dog Eat Dog, That's Your Horoscope, Something's Rotten Here, bits of Constipated and Ebay, the Lose yourself parody, It's all about the Pentiums, One more Minute, both Star Wars songs were the encore and a bunch of others that I can't remember right now ;) He comes up here every year and plays at the amphitheater in the local theme park (Kings Island) It was the same show as last year but it was a ton of fun :) Like M said he's really good with his band. They just have *fun* up there and that makes it so much better to watch! *snicker* When the band revolted and started playing Alice Cooper's School's Out it was great ;)

(yes M I know I'm rambling... I'm waiting for the coke to get cold and you know how I'm crippled without it...)

It's law that the opening comedian for Al has to suck. They always have. It's also law that at least one member of the Brinkman family dies at an outing. Altho it not being the usual suspect was surprising.

also, insert "leaving before the headliner bands comes out" joke here.

He puts on a awesome concert, I was duly impressed.

Hee - would've been cool if you'd been the JD in question. But it's Sarah's youngest brother.

Both times I had plans to see Al in concert in Hershey, someone died and fucked up my weekend. Hmph. I'm glad to see he's still touring after his parents died so suddenly. Go Al.
