Guess what I listened to on the bus this morning?

If it's just that you're weak
Can we talk about it
It's gettin' so damn creepy
Just nursing this ghost of chance
The fiction, the romance
And the Technicolor dreams
Of black and white people

I listened to this one like a bazillion times:

No I would not sleep in this bed of lies
So toss me out and turn in
And there'll be no rest for these tired eyes
I'm marking it down to learning

My current Matchbox obsession is The Difference. And don't say you don't know which one that is, 'cause I'll smack you.

But Back to Good is still my favorite.

mmm Matchbox... [is saddened 'cause just realized Maderr has her CDs]

Would you like'em back? I can burn'em and send'em once dad sends my drive (which'll be here tomorrow).

Not generally. Sammie has a fatal weakness for Rob Thomas, which is why I mentioned listening to him.

I'm not normally so pathetic, but as Meg says, I adore Rob Thomas. That combined with Matchbox Twenty's entire repertoire pretty much destroys whatever good sense I possess.

eh [shrug]

...Why does that song sound familiar? Other than the line "marking it down to learning", because that one is a title of a GW fic that rips my heart out.

ooh... another good one. I listened to that one a lot when I was in Moscow. I have no idea what; it just seemed suited somehow.
