Still sleepy. Seems to be the day for it.

I've just discovered that the bagelstop downstairs has a salami and cream cheese sandwich. Sadly, I've also discovered they close at three. Probably for the best, I shouldn't be blowing money on such evil good anyway.

Have about a million stories floating through my head. Started 'Kidnapped' this morning, and added a couple of pages each to Embrace and Sixpence. Forgot to post them here, so will have to wait 'til I get home tonight to work on them some more.

Desperately want to finish Treasure, Lost & Found, and a couple of other stories by year's end, b/c I refuse to start anymore series until I've finished a few of the IP ones. Am also plannning on revamping and finishing The Chimaera Key - why I stopped that one I do not know. I think it overwhelmed me at the time - I started it even before Rainbow.

Am itching to start my parallel universe story, a split story, and collabs with various persons. Also have an Elf story in mind, since I have yet to tackle that particular staple of fantasy. Am fighting vigorously against attempting the one genre I dislike above and beyond all others - rockstar stuff, A) because I know nothing about music B) because I really and truly hate the genre and would probabl do something that would get me killed.

I think I've inflicted y'all with enough rambling. How many cups of coffee is too many? I guess switching to tea is not really much better, is it? *wanders away*

Yeah, I'm rather despondent that it closes right when I go to lunch.

heh You said y'all.

And I dare you to do a rockstar series. And if you won't, give me what you got, and I will. By god, piss people off, start a revolution. It needs shaking up!

What would you mean by rockstar series?

I loathe stories of the "I want to be a *insert music genre* star! B/c the characters, the angst, the problems, etc etc etc are always exactly the same and it grates on my nerves for some inexplicable reason. It's a genre where I never see anything different. Gravitation gets a few brownie points, but not many.

Lol. I don't have anything specific yet, just a vague urge to do *something* Maybe you can help me brainstorm some evening (which doesn't mean I'm doing it). You can have at.

I see. That's better than what I was thinking. I was thinking of the people who pick their favorite bands and write slash.

I wonder if anyone has written any Winger slash....

oh god no. how many times do I have to tell you - I do have some standards. I don't do RP slash.

I wouldn't doubt it.

I remembered you saying that and being horrified by it, so that's why I asked. I wasn't sure if that's what that meant.

Just making sure. I prefer to blamed for those terrifying things of which I *am* guilty. My darkest moment was cereal slash, otherwise I think I'm almost respectable.

Yea, that was terrifying. Funny, but terrifying.

A story about the Travelocity Gnome wouldn't be a bad idea, actually.

I gave into the rockstar stuff. You should, too. It's inevitable. But then again, I'm a hopeless music junkie.

Speaking of which, I'm late for my oboe lessons. *runs*

lol!

I think *you* should write a story about the travelocity gnome.

I actually started a GW-rockstar-AU, like so many other people. (It would've ended up being all of them in a pile in bed together. *wry* Maybe it's a good thing I never wrote it.)

My point was that I don't know anything about music either, and it's not impossible. (Helped by the fact that I have a classmate who plays in a garage band.)

*patpat* *hugs* Take care. Get more sleep tonight.

*smile* the band for the song 1985 is bowling for soup *dry* not difficult to remember considering the number of times they play it...

anyhow, i see where you can go with that but personally *grin* i like breaking the mould ^^ i actually have an idea for a rock band which i hope is distinctively different *dryly* in fact, i probably *KNOW* it is but it's hard to write because it was originally created for my friends who wanted a webcomic based off a rock band and with the same kind of atmosphere as cafe kichijouji. i came up with the whole thing but *wilt* being artists, they weren't able to come up with the inspiration to draw it *sniffles* or at least the focus and direction *sweatdrop* my artist friends tend to be a little flighty... ><

Still, hopefully one day, subant will rise again! bwahahaha... *coughs and skitters away*

That's it. And yeah, given the name one would think I'd remember it.

Artists *shakes head* They can be tricksy like that. Sounds like you had a cool story too - I suggest lots of clobbering.
