It's one thing when I don't want to sleep and quite another when I'd love to sleep but can't. Dammit EvT, you're stealing all the sleep from me!

On the upside I finally remembered what else I wanted to mention from work. A deaf guy came in, with three other people...I think the two women could talk (though only one did) and the two men couldn't. Anyway, I've never really seen sign language much - just at speeches and all. So I thought it was the coolest damn thing to see a four way conversation in sign language about what kind of toppings they wanted on their pizza.

And I think it's really cute how before I always had to pick them up but now when I'm at the comp the kittens will climb up the chair to fall asleep in my lap.

About that sleep

Still can't get it. Decided to walk to walmart and man was that interesting. People apparently don't know what legs are.

Couldn't find a damn thing that I actually needed, so just got a new watch since mine is rather sad. Then splurged and got the latest Sparkly! Newtype magazine, but it turned out to be eight bucks rather than ten so I feel a little less guilty.

And holy hell I didn't know they were doing a live action Devilman movie, Casshern looks yummier than ever and there's another anime going live that I'm forgetting right now. And of course Eva is still in the works. A woman at Mickey D's was thoroughly sparkly-eyed by my holding a magazine that came from Japan...that I bought at walmart...nevermind she had Chinese kanji on her chest. I also had no idea that chicks liked to cosplay FF X-2 so much...clearly I'm in the minority for preferring to not run around 3/4 naked unless there's a large body of water near by. Speaking of naked chicks there's a hella lot of yuri in this thing. Anyone ever seen...what's it called...Kiddy Parade? I watched the first episode of that just b/c I'm suicidal like that and about passed out snickering at the number of panty shots. I love fanservice. Speaking of fan service, I am ever entertained by the Dante lookalike in Casshern...white hair, red leather, generally unhappy expression. If he totes two guns and a lightning sword I reserve the right to die laughing (not that I'm complaining, I play that game just to watch Dane look ba-dass sometimes).

9:00 am and I'm still awake. I suppose this is a problem, seeing as I have to work 'til close tonight and right now I have no idea how I'm going to manage it. Minor detail at this point I suppose.

Had two guys offer to give me a ride, could be that southern hospitality thing. I'm actually inclined to think it is, because they were nice about it rather than "hey, baby" in which case I'd be typing this from the local jail cell.
