Cold

Dude, it is fracking cold this morning. The low today is supposed to be 39. WTF? I thought I had another month to prepare for that sort of temp.

Ah, well. It means I can finally wear all my fun winter clothes. Though if my bills don't wipe me out, I'm going to spend some money next paycheck on more pants, because I badly need them and am tired of wearing the same four pairs every week.

Bought checks this morning (well, for one account. Now I go to the other). Almost got carebears but opted for a beach/boardwalk thing. My second bank (the one bank in NC) I may go CareBears. We'll see. Also splurged a bit on a nice leather wallet thing to hold checks, cards, etc. so that when I just want to run inot hte store I don't have haul my Bag O'Doom with me.

Enough babble for hte morning. Today is probably going to be another long day, but I guess I'd best get used to it. On the other hand, wracking up overtime which is nice. HOpefully I can save some of it and not spend it - though I may as well just pay remaining debts as fast as I can and finally be done with them. Oh, man would that be nice.

Almost done wtih fairytale. Worked for an hour or so last night on revisions; one more scene to edit and then I can write the end. And fuck fuck fuck I still haven't started my SMP story. Sky, it probably won't go out 'til Monday, my apologies.

More coffee. Then checks. Then work, alas. Ja ne~

Restraining orders. Are these strictly an American thing? Are there variations on the theme? Not quite sure what to ask. I need it for all of one snippet of conversation (Sammie, I'll bet you can guess who might be the subject of this conversation before you even see it - but don't tell!).
