Had a long day, but came home and had a wonderful evening. Had the post typed up and everything.

Then realized the same GODDAMN FUCKING PROBLEM I've had for like two or three months now is once again afflicting my computer. And my mood has plummted all over again, b/c god fucking forbid not one thing go wrong.

Maybe someone can help me, b/c no one here can. It says the connection is great, my comp reads there is a connection, everything says I'm golden. Except that when I try to go online, it says there's no connection. I've given up.

And now I'm going to bed. I love you all. The world can go fuck itself.

That happens to me all the time. Try unplugging both sides of the connection - the comp and the wall. Reconnect them, switching the input and output if necessary - ie, turn the connection cable around. Then reopen the server, and sign in again. Usually works for me.

my sympathies. my 'puter did that last year. twice i had it. with my phone modem i actually fried the interal modem an had to replace. with the cable it was a dead 1/o card (i think) and i simply had to move the slot the card was in to a new open slot (with loverly tech supported help ^___^;;)

Exorcise it. I can Fed-ex some Holy Water to you, and I guarantee* that if your computer doesn't short-out from having water dumped on its circuits, then it should work. =)

Eh. I should stop griping. But it's so frustrating that when I'm actully in the mood to work and all - I can't.

The most I can do is disable the connection - it's a wireless and every other comp in the house works perfectly fine. It's just mine that's being weird, and S has tried everything to get it to work.

Ahhhhh....well, sorry. I'm still connected to the wall. I have no idea how to fix one that isn't. ^^; Hope you get it working soon though.
