But I still wish it was the weekend.

Sammie gave me the smackdown hardcore on something I've been writing. Hehehe, guess I'll be fixing that tonight. Note to self: don't write when tired (<--does that sound like a good excuse?)

Want coffee. I am allowed some, yes? *nods* Yes.

Still short two runners, so it looks like today is going to be another busy one. The overtime makes it worth it, right?

*yawn*

I wasn't trying to be mean. But I figured in the long run, it was something you'd like to avoid doing...

It probably wasn't nearly as bad as the smackdown the Literary Magazine editors and I just gave. Given, the author wasn't there, but there was much down laying of the smack. While I don't approve of out right meaness, if a writer is doing something wrong or needs to otherwise be corrected, I think they should be. I know it can be hard to take -- degrading of your ideas can be really hard to take -- but, it's something you have to put up with, everyone's got an opinion.

Doing anything when you're tired or otherwise ditracted leads to stupid mistakes and judgement errors. When you wake up from a REM cycle in the middle of the night and get what you think is a really good idea, often times in the light of day, you realize how stupid that idea was. (That would make for the coolest scary story! *Wakes up.* ... I'm an idiot.)

Drink some coffee and try to make it through the day as best you can. =) The week's half over.

I didn't mean to sound like I was upset about it. It actually means a lot to me that she would say "Um...Meggie...about this story..." I just feel really sheepish for making the mistake ^^;

"much down laying of the smack" *giggles*

All in all, I'm not half as upset as I apparently sound. But I am glad the week is half over.

SHUT THE FUCK UP.

You have no idea how much fun it was discussing that story idea with you. I LOVE doing stuff like that. I hope you decide to write it/draw it/whatever.

I know. But I still felt bad. It hadn't really been my intention to start deriding it the way I did.
