Apparently my grinning like a loon is a rare thing? I hadn't thought so, but maybe I've been more stressed at work than ever I thought. But I was in a really good mood today, still am, even though I end the day yet again barely able to feel my legs (and two hours to go yet).
I definitely am happier as a runner. Busy as freakin' hell, but that's part of why I'm much happier. I don't sit around doing little to nothing for hours at a time, I don't have to mince words with obnoxious secretaries and by and large I am on my own. Life only really sucks when the lawyers dont' give me enough money for certain filings.
All jobs have downsides, but I'm finally to where those problems are manageable(my sore feet) or ignorable (my lazy coworkers).
Slightly related note, I am for once proud of myself. I seem to be meeting one of my lesser goals, and all without my noticing until recently. The office, the fact that I have to talk on the phone a lot, the runs, etc. have helped to force away a great deal of my shyness. I can even chat with random strangers now, and I haven't had too much trouble talking to the new guys (whereas when I started I could barely rememer my name most days when people talked to me). So go me ^_^ Though I still get anxious wheneer I have to go into a courtroom to get a judges' signature. Gah, those places are intimidating.
ONE MORE DAY and I never have to work 'til eight again. w00t!!!
