Semi-holiday
Feb. 21st, 2005 08:57 amOkay, technically today is a holiday though if you ask me it ranks as one of the more pointless. Anyway - banks, courts and post office are closed. That seriously limits the places we have to go, and leaves the mailroom lackeys with very little to do. So we should, in theory, have a pretty easy day today.
Plus Kelly sold me her LotR: RotK dvd for $15.00, bwahahahaha.
Hopefully the new guy will feel confident enough that I won't have to stay 'til eight tonight.
So NUMB3RS. I liked that he didn't use math to solve the crime - granted that's the point of the show but it's nice to change it up. And is it just me or did Charlie look like he was thinking anything but "elegant" when he was describing the equations? Yeah, I thought not. And the whole thing with the house made me laugh, he's so mad cute when he's pouty and then mischievious. I love this series so very very much.
We had Olive Garden last night and it was mad yummy...and I just realized that the food I'd saved to have for lunch today got left in the fridge. DAMN IT. I wanted that chocolate lasagna...
So. Fucking. Tired. Even my coffee isn't waking me up. I had another night of waking up like every 40 minutes or so, and of course it didn't help that I had cats lurking and twitching. Hopefully I'll wake up in a bit, because if I have to go the whole day like this it's going to be a long one indeed.
Started a new short story last night, taking a break from the two longer ones I've been working on for...oh almost a month now *sigh* I swear after S and I are finished with our plotting this weekend, I can get back into my writing hardcore. I really miss it, and am looking forward to having the time and energy to do it again.
