NUMB3RS was rerun, I don't feel like working on real stories, so drabbles it is! Mix of fanfiction and original: Suiko III, Danny Phantom, Hardy Boys; Paradise, Kidnapped and Sixpence.

Suikoden III - Percy/Borus (I'm on something of a knight trip)

Percy stole Borus' wine as he joined him on the balcony. He smiled over the rim as he took a sip. "One of your better ones. You're either that happy or that upset."

Borus shrugged and did not reply. He took his wine glass back. "And you? Why are you not dancing with every pretty thing available?"

"I am tired of my toes being trod upon. Lady Chris won't stop dancing with her new husband, so unless you want to dance with me," Percy mimicked Borus' shrug. "I believe I am finished for the evening."

Borus rolled his eyes. "I am not dancing with you. We promised Lady Chris you wouldn't make a spectacle."

"We dance to well too make a spectacle." Percy smiled. With deft fingers he snatched Borus' wine glass back, tipped it back and emptied it. Licking his lips, he set it on the balcony railing with a sharp click and held out his hand. "We can't spend the entire evening sulking."

Muttering a few choice curses, Borus took Percy's hand. "You are going to get us in trouble."

"If we're lucky, they'll kick us out and spare us having to make polite excuses." Percy led the way back inside.

Danny Phantom - Danny (My obsession with this cartoon can only be described as Unhealthy)

Danny made himself invisible as he stepped out of his dorm, after a cursery glance around to ensure no one was about.

Not that they'd notice him anyway. He may as well be a real phantom for all the notice people took of him anymore.

Though it wasn't really their fault that Danny couldn't have a life. Couldn't balance Phantom with Fenton. He'd tried and failed, three girlfriends and countless friendships victim to his Phantom life. After the last girl, he'd given up and given in to the inevitable.

He struggled through classes, struggled with ghosts, struggled to keep the few friendships he did have and walked invisible in the rain so there was a good reason no one noticed as he passed.

And understood, just a bit, why the ghosts he banished were so bitter and sad.

Hardy Boys - Frank/Joe (Speaking of Unhealthy Obsessions, this one is entirely tsu's fault)

Joe was all energy, and Frank envied it. All his life he'd strived to mimic their father's gentle calm. Even in a crisis, Fenton never lost that cool.

But Joe was completely opposite, bright and hot. It was fitting that he had the blonde hair and blue eyes that were so different than the dark looks Frank shared with their father, or their mother's more delicate beauty.

It was that energy that coerced him to cross the line he swore he'd never cross. Because just once he wanted to know what it was like. How it felt...how it tasted.

Wonderful was how it felt. Heady and addictive. Most addictive of all was how eager Joe was to share it.

Paradise - Trick

Trick straightened his royal blue tie as he slid from the back of the car. He didn't move until his bodyguards joined him, protecting him from the world. He was not able to see to either side, his view blocked by muscled shoulders and chests.

Deep laughter hit his ear, and he just barely caught sight of a group of guys shooting hoops in a beat up lot across the street. They looked about his age, give or take a couple of years. Guys home on spring break, shooting hoops and talking about nothing.

He blinked to adjust the contact lense that had suddenly gone blurry, hand sliding from his face to just brush the place under his jacket where metal rest like a dead weight in its leather holster.

Ignored the pain in his chest, the weariness that drained him. Locked it all away and walked tall, because weakness would put his family in danger.

Blocked out the cheers as someone sunk a ball.

Kidnapped - Adalsteinn

Einn climbed, sweating lightly but grinning madly. He was going to make it! All the way up Star Climb and not once had he used his magics.

His mother would kill him, if she knew. But man, he wouldn't have to go scrounging for food for the next Turn or two. Because he was about to win--

The Bet!

Climbing up and over the last jutting ledge, Einn crawled his way up a slight incline until he reache dthe top of the highest Plateau in the settlement.

Ha! They were going to eat their words now, telling him he couldn't...

Einn's thoughts faded away as he looked up at the stars. He'd never really paid attention to them before, having more important things to do when he bothered to climb up to a plateau wide enough to linger on - usually he had company.

They were beautiful.

Sixpence - Lucifer/Gabriel

Gabriel weighed nothing in his arms, as light as the feathers of his white, white wings. He was warm and soft, a gentle heat to ease the cold that dominated the realm Lucifer now called home.

The cold would kill him slowly, he knew this. He missed the sunrises, the slow cool mornings that gradually gave over to bright heat.

Now he had only the cold, and demons as icy and hard as he to serve as friends and companions. He did not regret his choices; he would make them over again. He still missed the sun.

But he had Gabriel, and for the look in Gabriel's eyes there was little he would not sacrifice.

Because in those blue eyes he saw love, and a lack of judgement that lurked in every other pair of eyes that looked upon him. In Gabriel's eyes he saw welcome and peace, and a promise that such would always be the case.

That was worth the sun.
