And now I get to into work, where two coworkers are no doubt going to be mightily pissed I told on them. TOO DAMN BAD.

Shit, it's one thing to pull that kind of thing in a school yard, it's quite another in a setting like yours. You're a bit beyond high school and you should all fucking act like it. They should anticipate repercussions like that.

All I can say is, what literature is she talking about? If I recall correctly, there were quite a few strong-willed women in the unbowdlerized versions of old fairy tales. Yeesh.
