maderrJust about done sorting the mail, and I'm going through the stuff we're uncertain about (lots of stuff coming in is addressed to the clients rather than the lawyers and they don't always specify c/o X). This one was just addressed to Jane Doe, not even the firm was mentioned.
Opened it up...PETITION AGAINST HOMOSEXUAL MARRIAGES.
I felt sick. More precisely, I think it was a petition to stop the petition going around for same sex marriages. Anyway, I didn't know what to do with it - as much as I wanted, I can't just throw out mail with which I disagree. Not my mail.
Showed it to the assist manager, she looked at it, considered the envelope...then tore it to shreds.
Heh. Takes care of that I guess.
