I thought I'd bookmarked or memoried but apparently I haven't. It's an FMA fic I read ages ago but I can't for the life of me remember where. Roy/Ed (sort of), all I remember is them going for coffee, and Ed being his spazzy self, knockign something over or spilling it...and Roy kind of sort of in Roy fashion asking him to dinner? Something like that. It was really, really good, my desciption doesn't do it justice. It's still my fav portrayal of Ed in fandom.

Oh yeah, and it begins with Al taking a request list from Winry over the phone, b/c she tells him to write it down and he doesn't. Darn it. This is bugging me. Really really REALLY bugging me.

Heh, I was afraid of that. I wish I could remember more about it...*grrr* I remember he managed to knock something over or spill something and he wondered if the coffee was normal coffee.

I don't suppose it's Situation Normal by Sleeps With Coyotes? Even if it's not, I would highly recommend her writings anyway. Hope you find it!
