I am vastly amused by the way every crime show at some point (or several) has an episode about bdsm. And really, CSI already did an ep on furries, I don't know why they think whips and chains would be shocking after people getting off on pretending to be animals.

It also saddens me I know what's going on well before the chars and that the terms don't need to be explained to me.

Greg was way too giddy about liquid latex.

On the other hand, they treat it with a bit more "care" let's say. Not "oh my god, social deviants, shoot'em now!"

Which, y'know... was the reaction of certains.

I was just annoyed by the "we're trying to break down the preconceived notions of a victorian blahblahblah..." *rolls eyes* You're not artistes. It's a fucking kink. Admit it and move on.

That did amuse me. If she's so open about her work, she outta just come out and say "we cater to a particular kink"

And I thought "fetish club" was a bit goofy. It seemed rather PC of them.

Of course when she mentioned Victorian all I thought about was the one story going (that'll be finishing soon and then I can send it to you) on about the naughty club in...victorian-ish England. That's not the right era but it's close enough. There's one storyline with a Scotsman and a Texan that I heart mightily.

Ye gods don't let M&D read this post XD XD XD

mmmm... they did do a lot of tip-toeing around the subject. PC can kiss my ass. I'm still waiting for them to take on a yaoi-con. I can just see it, a fan girl gets pissed because two cos-players so entirely weren't sticking to canon. It'll be hysterical. *is weird; just let it go*

If it's there, they'll read it. D's been making quite an effort ot post and such.

*dies dead* OH MY GOD the money I would pay to see fangirls go at it over cannon. It would be beautiful and I would expire laughing.

I'm screwed then.

It would be awesome. I crack up everytime I picture the situation. It would be such a trip. We should write them with our idea.

Maybe.

Still working on your Kyle/Erik things. Am having a hard time coming up with Kyle's outfit--you'll understand when you read it. And I also still need to dabble with my second "really bad fiction" set...

I'm not sure I could be sober long enough to write such a proposal. I'm giggling madly enough right now. It would destroy me, to see Grissom watching the rabidyaoifangirls go at it *falls over laughing*

WANT TO READ FINISH STORY.

Yay! Really bad fiction. Speaking of bad fiction, send me the ISBN for that hideous excuse of a romance novel. That book needs to be on my shelves.

The entire situation is just to die for, really. haha! And just for kicks, we could have the fangirls, fangirling the CSIs. *evil*

Not to sound ignat, but... the what?

Oh. ^^; Sorry. I did think it weird you didn't get the ref.

The ISBN Number. Should be a long string of numbers, probably marked thus above or below the barcode.

This likely isn't what you had in mind, but the book... isn't where I remebered it's being. Luckily, I remembered Nora Roberts was the leading lady on the cover. *shudder*

It's called Once Upon a Rose, and if you scroll down to the "people who bought this also bought:" list, you'll see these chicks have an entire series of Once Upon a ... stories. Don't they just beg to be purchases?

I would just liek to say the Lady Heather rocks.

But alot of the stuff she says is right... While we are a much more sexually liberated crowd, religion and culture are still joined to make people feel that sex itself is something to be done behind closed doors with the lights off.. and anything that isn't strictly het-missionary style is, well, kinky and just plain weird. I personally liked that they came at it from the stance that it's not weird and can be very much enjoyed by "normal" sexually mature adults.
