Forgot my SMP story, so alas must work on something new while here if I want to write. Heh.
The Horrible! Bodice-ripper short story book has been brought out, and I've decided to at least poke at the idea of 'corrupting' the basic premise of one of the stories. The first one, b/c it had the most potential and therefore was the greatest failure (it's also very fairytale, which works for me!):
On a remote island cursed with eternal winter, a young queen heals a wounded soldier -- and warms her heart with the joys of trule love...
~from 'Winter Rose' in Once Upon A Rose by Nora Robert et al.
Now to reread the story, that I might properly remember what I'm "ruining."
Mwahahaha.
