*BK coffee is good, UDF is better. Maybe when roommate emerges from coffin at noon, UDF coffee can be acquired

*Next time Jagen offers to help html, self, fucking take her up on the offer.

*Why do I try to write during the week and then when the weekend comes 'round I manage practically nothing? Goddamn loser.

*Badly want to write Bond/MacGuyver. Maybe should just screw research and wing it? Lazy, lazy me.

*WTF does it feel more like spring than winter? Not that I'm complaining, but I hate this constant fluctuation. Pick a season and stick with it please.

Yes! Give me ANGUS!!! :)

Just kidding. Hope the coffee is great.

BTW, no one ever answered my query about what makes White Castle so wonderful. One opened up in Flint (where I was) in December, and there was a line for the drivethru so long that it was out to the road.

I didn't answer b/c I don't know. I eat it if that's what the group decides on, but I don't love it. Maybe Sarah can explain when she gets up. You don't see'em much down South - we prefer food that actually takes more than two bites to eat.

Okay. See, that's what I thought. But people actually seemed to like it, hence the shocked-ness.

I like Whataburgers. You ever eaten one of those?

From: [identity profile] maderr.livejournal.com

Never heard of'em.

You know, as I meet more and more people from around the country, I'm not entirely surprised to find out they've never heard of something that is my favorite. Whataburger began in Corpus Christi, or something like that, I think...

Like our ice cream. Damned if anyone could find Blue Bell anywhere except Texas, Lousiana Arkansas and Oklahoma... I think.

Yeah, but every locale has its local stuff. Ice-cream, we've got Graeter's and UDF. And we could always get into the chili debate again, if you really wanted XD XD

Do you have Rally's? That's a pretty good burger place.

Hmmm... Rallys sounds familiar, but not really. I don't think we have those. We do have Steak and Shakes...

Good research curls my toes... but I vote for 'wing it!' as well in this case. Just write, we will love it!

Believe me, the first weekend I have to blow watching Bond and Mac I will do so.

Yeah, but the waitstaff here blows.

I like their shakes though, but not their fries. :)

How about Sonic. You guys have good Sonic?

No sonic here, but there's one in my old town in NC. I miss Sonic, esp. their tater tots.

I vote wing it. I mean, how much do you really need to know about either? One creates gadgets, one abuses them. ^_^

I like Sonic too. *hugs it* I'm also fond of Panda Express and PeiWei. Good CHINESE food is my life.

Lol. That seems to be the general consensus, so that's what I'll do.

*loves you* Good to know that should we ever meet, we won't have trouble figuring out where to eat ^_^

The general consensus does often tend to be correct. Though that could just be desperation on the consensus' part, too. ^_^

Hey, you have an awfully good track record with winging stuff and having it turn out Excellent, so no worries. ^____^

'sides, like [livejournal.com profile] rykaine said, One creates gadgets, one abuses them. What more does one need to know? ^____^ ... >.> ... though I really really wanna see at least one Bond movie now, thanks to you... maybe I should swing by Hastings, since I'm home an hour early... 9.9

Make sure it's one with Sean Connery. He was the best bond, though if you want more current I'd suggest Golden Eye - the rest are bleh.

So I looked 'em up anyway. >.> Yay for the IMDB.

Never Say Never Again (1983)
Diamonds Are Forever (1971)
You Only Live Twice (1967)
Thunderball (1965)
Goldfinger (1964)
From Russia with Love (1963)
Dr. No (1962)

....... suggestions? o.o Didn't realize there were so many, and those are only the ones with Sean Connery (still The God) starring. *.*

From: [identity profile] maderr.livejournal.com

There's tons of them. I thought The Spy Who Loved Me was Connery. Guess I'm on crack. I've seen Thunderball-From Russia and was suitably amused by all of them. I think I've seen Never Say Never Again, but I'm really bad with titles b/c I catch them on TV and never as they're starting ^^;; But really, it's Connery, you can't go wrong.

Go with Never say Never Again, I'm pretty sure that's the one I was watching when I wrote my goofy story.

In response to why you try to write during the week and don't get anything done on weekends, maybe it's that the time is *not* limited. I tried working two jobs or temping 70hours a week for a few months to save up enough money to just write for a few months? I ended up watching reruns and not getting anything written. I find when I have a day job and restrictions, I value that time more.

Basically, what I'm saying is don't beat yourself up over it, figure out whatever rhythm works for you.
