Posted a DMC fanfic to madfiction, if anyone here is a fan.


So Europe was good for a lot of things, including the clearing of my head. My greatest problem is that I don't like waiting. I want things now, now, now. Patience is something I've always lacked.

But it's time to get over that. Three things I really want to do: Go to Japan, go to grad school, and write. Especially write - I should never have started, because now that I have it's all I really to do. My mother and various friends have been encouraging me to do it seriously for awhile, I figure it's time I started listening. I don't think I'll be in-the-bookstore-published for years yet, but there are online avenues and such I'd like to take. I am also still applying to grad school, and if that doesn't work out then Gomes will have to deal with me in September.

Now I just need to finish up (or, as jagen13 was brave enough to do, just stop) what I'm doing online. I also need to decide what stories to write for submission. I wish I could just sell me stories online like this one chick does...what is that address...

enough rambling: I want to submit something to Torque press. Do I do the ghost story or the dreaded vampire story? Note that in my list of pet peeves vamp stories rank pretty high - it's rare the vamp story that I actually like. So I've determined to write one. Speaking of which - does anyone know the word for blood in...russian (where's my sister?), chinese, korean, or anything else? I have spanish, french, italian, and german.

okay, done now. lj is way too distracting, especially when I want to whine.

You should sell online. Even if you just put a few works together and find a nice way to bind them I'm sure people would buy. I know I would. ::nodnod::

I thought about it. The way the story is shaping up at the moment, I don't know where werewolves would fit. Definitely keeping them in mind, just so long as no one accuses me of ripping off that stupid movie (the name of which escapes me).

To be honest, it does seem that life mostly hates you right now. Let me know if I can do anything to help out - I'm glad DMC is helping some.

Hmm true but I've got all of you guys to whine to so I'm ok for now.. Just the venting is helping... I was prowling around the office hissing like a rabid tabby cat yesterday.. It was fun ;)
