It's decided. For my thirtieth birthday my sibs (sisters at least, though it would be w00t if the brother figure wanted to come as well) and I are going to hike through Scotland. Just because. All are cordially invited to come get lost with us. That's about five years from now.

Heh. We went on a bus tour of it and they pointed out this path where two freaks were hiking (mind you its december and scotland is cold as goddamn hell) and they told us about the walking tour. You can actually just start walking and go through Scotland the hard way. Really hard. Man, you want to talk middle of no where. I bet there's an american tourgroup or 12 lost in those mountains. It struck as something we'd probably kill ourselves doing, but it would be fun.

Mind you, we were also so close to actually jumping the rope and sprinting to touch stone henge it was sad -- and we only wanted to do it for the conversation that would follow:

Sammie and Meg: "Hey, dad! Gues where we're calling from?"

Dad: *laugh* "Prison?"

Us: "Funny you should say that."

Mostly though, it's hella gorgeous. So pretty. If we're gonna kill ourselves hiking and camping, may as well be in Scotland and maybe some hottie laird will come save us
