That would be a hot character. Maybe with all sort of tattoos and special scars. Maybe a half-dragon creature for his right hand man, set up a cool anthro/human relationship.

I guess he'd have to be dark, somehow light coloring just wouldn't work. Give him the ever popular "violet orbs" ? *snicker* Maybe a rich dark blue. Tanned skin? Classic pale? Maybe pale, that'd make the tattoos really look stark and creepy. Bony-slender, likely b/c of the magic. Maybe he's physically weak? That'd be interesting for a witch-king. Dragon-man can be his strength, then we get all that hot bodyguard-type tension.

Dragon with scales? Hmm, too Draconis maybe? Humm....someone with leather at wrists, neck, would be cool. so maybe regular skin, but tougher than average? Give him snake-like eyes or something, sharp nails, pointed ears, sharp teeth. That'd be creepy and oh so perfect. wings? No wings? Shall have to ponder that one. I'd probably wind up like with Doug and always forget he has them so maybe nix the wings. Definitely built like Ye Olde Brick Shithouse.

Premise, premise.

Hmm...witch king ostensibly evil, I guess. Could go the opposite and make him Poor Misunderstood. Easier just to nix the matter of good/bad altogether and go with some sort of conflict confined to the castle or whatever, rather than dragging in other countries. Maybe not a king yet, but a prince. Could be a rivalry for the throne, or perhaps there's a problem with the dragon-bodyguard. A rarity maybe? Someone else wants him? Hmmm hmm hmmm

So dragon man is stolen? Sold? Somethihng? Maybe by a displeased witch-king father, who feels his son is weak and too reliant on the dragon man. Son gets pissed, gives father the finger and ventures off to rescue dragon man. Or maybe prince and dragon had a fight. Lots of h/c in this story. Hmmm.

Could also nix the whole stolen/sold thing and just go with the old dragon is oblivious, witch-prince does something stupid trying to gain his notice. Ah, bodice-ripper history, you cheeze up my stories so easily.

I think I like badass dragon man getting stolen, weakling prince going to the rescue and kicking much ass in his own way, though it would be funny if a lot of it was sheer dumb luck. No forests, 'cause I use forests too much. Maybe through a mountain, because I don't use those a lot *rolls eyes* Rocky, definitely, brutal landscape. Also a trade route? Bandits and shit.

Names, names. Also need to develop magic system. Only royalty born with it? That'd add too many complications. So maybe royalty born with especially pwerful magic, and princey boy is at least smart enough to dumb down his magic while out on Ye Olde Grande Adventure.

Dragon man obviously not a pushover, so heavily drugged? Something that dragons hate and I"m not allowed to be lazy and call it dragonsbane.

Guh. Not Prince... King, bad ass.. kinda dark and ominous... Immortal maybe? Or just seriously long lived... Dragon been with him long time, maybe not necessarily willingly at first, but now loyal to the death.

The story? Hmm... Isolated kingdom, unfriendly people but well taken care of. King is not overly generous, but fair. Land harsh, leads to hard people.. Think Scots-ish, maybe? Say... every so many years, Kings of neighboring realms meet to renegotiate treaties... Location rotates between realms. This year, Witch King's realm. No one really pleased to meet... Dragon suspects assassin attempt. Yeah... me likes assassins...

'Course... that's a whole new idea. Maybe Witch King lives isolated, Dragon sent to assassinate. Witch King magic versus Dragon's cunning and strength. Oooooh... Much love. Too bad it was your idea. ;-> (Then again, I seem to like that plotline a little too much... hmm, where else do I have one trying to kill the other...... but this would be so cool to do.)

Witch-king for a moment equaled drag queeen in my mind. "Witches are women, right? Men are wizards?" XD! Hahahaha! Yes! I'm with indigoraven, if you don't want to seriosuly persue this idea, let us all chop it to bits. I'd love to do cracked drag-queen/dragon slash for the laugh factor if nothing else.
