Somewhere in ordering books, missed where I put in the gift card #. I hope I can go back and add it in =_= otherwise my bank account is not going to be healthy. Dumbass.
For someone who lives in a big city, you do a fascinating amount of online book ordering. o.o I normally hike my little butt down to Borders or Waldenbooks (Whatever's most convenient) and call it good. ^.^;
9.9 But then, you order more esoteric stuffies than I do.... ^^v
I don't have a car. When I'm in a bookstore, I'm there for hours. If I have to spend less than two, I'm generally unhappy. I can count on one hand the number of people who can stand to be in a bookstore that long with me and have fingers left over, and I don't like asking for rides for such a stupid thing. It's easier for everyone if I just buy them online.
Plus, yeah, most of the stuff I buy isn't going to be on the shelves, especially not around here.
Oooh, wow. o.o *small town girl going O.@ at not having a car* ^^ It's kinda mandatory out west here... Unless you live in LA, Seattle, Portland, San Diego, or San Francisco, you're pretty much SOL on decent public transportation. ^.^v In Idaho, you can actually get your liscence at 14. o.o; Mainly for the farm kids whose parents need them to drive tractors... 9.9
And you sound like me in bookstores. I always feel insanely guilty when I go with someone else in tow (usually Daddy or Mikey) because I take so long. 9.9 Though I'm usually the one driving too... ^^;
At least I don't have the esoteric problem. ^^ Most of my bookstore purchases are manga and Mercedes Lackey. ^.^v I rely on you and the rest of the lovely LJ ladies for my boyluv fix. ^________^
