Well that was a hell of a day

Have you ever wanted to complain about something, but it seems like everyone you know suffers it more, and frequently, so you feel as though you have no right? That doesn't sound quite how I mean it...I mean that it feels like my pain doesn't matter, b/c I know others have it worse.

Sorry, I'm cranky today. One thing and another X_x All I want is a good meal -- something horribly evil, from either the bottom of the chain (Mickey D) or the hightest (Mitchell's *_*).

Instead I think I'll just make chicken, and see if any of my veggies are still good. It sucks buying fresh stuff, b/c I only have it so long and I can't get it every week like I wish I could =/

Oh! Am about to give up on Melusine (a book I bought, think I'm mispelling it but don't care). By the same chick who wrote those Kushiel's Dart books. I don't much care for it. Parts are good, other parts are annoying, and it's a little weird how she's so fucking vague about what certain 'in verse' terms mean and then suddenly her chars turn around and say things like "fuck" and "snark" which just don't fit X_x I mean, I fsking suck for details, but unless by accident my chars in high fantasy don't say "fuck." Why would they? It's a hell of a lot more fun to have them "Storms take you!" and "Fire and ash!"

Though I'm still trying to think of good ones for Piedre (basilisk, stone) and Verde (yay! beasts - those will be fun).

Gods above did I wander.

Food. Then try to work on Sandstorm or something X_X Maybe I'll try drabbles.

And i was thinking of declaring next week my own Fanfiction Week, since I never get to play in that sandbox anymore...

You'll have to tell me what you're thinking anyway - I'm certain more than a few of the Beasts can be plenty vulgar when they get pissy, and Ailill is going to be defending his "thug" sweetheart on a few occasions...

umm... if you can't vent or whatever about work here, where else are you going to? Even if it is BTDT for others, it's not necessarily for you, right?

The only veggies I buy anymore or cucumbers, carrots, and those prepared salads--maybe a bell pepper occassionaly. And I guess anything frozen... I just don't get around to the fresh stuff often enough for it to be worth eating.

Same with fruits, I confine myself to 2 or three apples, but otherwise it's mostly bananas and graps and other... "bunched" things.

Drabble? If I've a chance after my workout (before D takes over), I'll see about composing you something utterly innane but so necessary.

It's not actually work, which was annoying as fuck but bearable. Heh ^^;; It's actually that my head has been hurting all day. But alongside Sarah and you guys, I feel like I'm just being a baby. I know I'm really fucking lucky I don't get the migrains y'all do.

That's mostly what I got, except I have more fruit b/c I love having strawberries/blueberries/etc in my yogurt. Which, alas, I finished yesterday.

The way I look at it is that others may have it worse, but it's a different perspective. Your troubles are bad for you; regardless of whether they're bad to someone else. I'm of the opinion that you really can't compare one person's problems to another person's, because you are leading completely different lives. So my opinion is, there's really never a situation where you "don't have the right" to be upset about something if someone else has worse problems. (Sorry to go off on this; just I feel the same way a lot, and have desperately had to put things in perspective, because I'm very close to a lot of people dealing with problems far worse than my own will ever be.)

Snake's teeth(fangs)? Snake's tongue? All I can think of is snakes and venom... Or something to do with rock falls. Crumbling stone, erosion, boulders (falling on people. My head seems to be hung up on the idea of falling rocks). Pepples, stone walls, masonry, snake skin.... okay, I'm grasping now. Well, those are my random thoughts on the matter, bec ause I felt like trying to come up with thoughts. If this was any help at all to you, then yay ^-^. If not, eh, um, *shrug*?

Hey, I'd say whine away. It's cathartic, gives you perspective, and often times, is the best way to find the humor in it all. Plus, if you were talking to us IRL, we'd be asking 'so, how was your day?', so hearing how it was--and how it was or wasn't nice--feels normal and feels like a connection.

And I'm a little tired right now, so if that didn't make sense, can we just pretend that it did? ^_^;;

I think I read the first 1/4 of Kushiel's Dart about 5 times before I finally got stuck with absolutely nothing else to read and finished it. It drags SOOOO badly starting out. Now I can't wait for the second book of the second trilogy to come out but then lately it doesn't take much to entertain me fantasy wise. A boring life will do that to ya!!

I know exactly what you mean about wanting to vent about something... but sometimes my worries seem so insignificant next to the troubles others are having. I think I've come to the conclusion that for the most part, I'll write it anyways... The most important thing sometimes is getting it out.

I loved the Kushiel's books so much, and while her Godslayer series was good literature it really wasn't my style. Though, sitting on my night stand is the newest book, "Kushiel's Scion"... that I desperately want to read.
