Spent the entire day in a foul mood wishing desperately that someone would drag me from it, but alas all my efforts in that direction. I can't really blame people for preferring to brush me aside, though I try hard to just be quiet when I'm feeling glum, but when even a friend obviously wishes you'd just hang up it only gets more depressing. Ah, well. It's my own fault.

Anyway. B/t pestering my dad, seeing that my v-day story was not a complete wash, and and this ZOMG fucking kickass book (*__* must get other two this weekend) my mood is improved.

Now to actually do some writing and not give in to urge to do nothing but read aforementioned book.

I should be doing housework, but even thinking about sours my mood so if it's waited this long it'll wait 'til the weekend.

Food should be gotten, but I think I'll put it off a bit longer.

Did everyone else have a good V-day? I hope so, the day of hearts should be a good one.

And now that's made me think of that doofy old story I wrote ages and ages ago. Aha, I should touch that up one day. It was dumb, but cute and fun.

Ramble, ramble. I guess I finally did manage to improve my mood.

Oh, dude. You guys should have seen it this morning. I have to walk down this long hill to get to work (and obviously back up it every day) and I was trying to be careful but missed a path of ice and went CRASH. It hurt like a son of a bitch, but I seem to have come out of it bruise free. Alas, I was going to tell everyone my roommate beats me just to see them start laughing at the idea. Hee hee hee.

Heeeeey, just know if you were on my side of the pond I would have showered you with valentine gifts. In lieu of that, I did post the finished version of the Monster Love story on my [livejournal.com profile] inkygoblin account. I will comment on that adorable DwtD you posted tomorrow, because right now it is 5:07 am and I am covered in mud and terribly drunk and just climbed down a mountain and it took me twenty minutes to type this for all the mistakes I have made. Happy V-day, dear! Big, disgusting, embarrassing smooches all around. ;)

Just wanted to say thanks for the book introduction up there. One look and I had to run to Borders and pick it up today even though my 30% off coupon didn't start til tommorrow. I can't wait to read it. I also wrote down all the titles you mentioned a while back and am looking for them all now. First up was the one with the Bartender and the Priest. I have a thing for Priests.

Also sorry you fell on the patch of ice. That's one thing I don't miss now that I live in FL.

Oh yeah! "Temeraire" kicks ass, and the first book even more so than the following two. Now I'm impatiently waiting for the fourth to come out, because... dragons in AU historical setting and OMG so well-written and fuuuuuuuuun!

The crash is one of the reasons winter sucks. *pets and offers marigold ointment for the bruises to fade faster* But at least you have snow and ice, which is less than I can say about us. We haven;t had such a snow-less winter for as long as I can remember. *sigh*

Glad to here you cheered up, dearie. It doesn't do to have an unhappy Meg. Simply is not on. And the extremely gay bond between man and dragon goes to a long way to cheerfulness. ;)

I have the next two books as ebooks. Would you like them? Not as good as an actual paper book, but hey, free.

*___* I would adore you forever more. I wish I had ebooks to trade, but mine are all pr0n and those hardly compare.

http://www.sendspace.com/file/l2rrn7 Sorry, the 3rd book is a little hard to read. You have to click on each chapter individually. You'll see what I mean when you download it.

Let me know if there's any other books you want. Most mainstream books download pretty fast - those two took about ten minutes. It's the least I can do to repay you for all the wonderful stories you give us to read!
