Had planned on doing much shopping today. Was going to get groceries, my dad's birthday present, poke around for presents for sammie and mom....but then Sarah told me that her mom was coming by at noon with easter gifts for us so I put it all on hold since I would have needed more time than was available.

Afternoons on Saturday are a shitty time to shop, so that's a no go now.

Guess I'll try to go tomorrow.

Now somebody make my muses cooperate. It's no fair they go quiet when I most need to be distracted from my own moodiness.

On the Definite Upside, though, Nancy gives the most awesomest of gifts. I got a picture of martinis to hang on my wall, pretty candle holders cause there is no such thing as too many candles, a floor pillow of the most beautiful fabric, and way more chocolate than I should be allowed to have ^____^ Also a rock that says "serenity" and pretty stickynotes and a luffly basket.

So not a total wash, though i really wish the muses would work. But after botching Geniuses I'm afraid to try anything else....

Nah ^__^ I'm quite content to go reread all the luffly dragons and firefoxes for the uh, fourth? maybe fifth time. I think beside the definition of 'glomp' there should be an image of balron attacking his pretty mage. Firefoxes are love, esp. when they're being woobie over their thieves or fretting over their falling over mages <3

Tane was asleep the first time Balron tried to switch back to human form. Thankfully, because he’d had to switch right back, the pain overwhelming and the only reason he hadn’t passed out immediately was because Tane would have had a fit if he’d woken up to find Balron half-dead.

The second time, two weeks later (really, how did anyone heal without potions?), the pain was much less, but he couldn’t bend over or really move much, so he’d switched back again because Tane already fussed enough over him in dragon form.

Though he was becoming rather fond of the nest that Tane had made for him, barely into the forest. Tane liked to sleep in it with him, too, curled up against Balron’s side. He never slept softly, shifting restlessly every night, but Balron was long used to Tane’s restless sleeping habits and he didn’t mind.

The third time, it had been over a month and a half and Tane had dragged him back to the village. Tane had been dragged off by a villager (grumbling, of course) to see about some magical problem or another. Balron had switched back – and the wound had left a scar and was tender, but he could move properly and it didn’t hurt, hurt anymore.

Of course, he still switched back, because he’d been plotting for weeks how best to thank Tane for taking care of him. He waited until that night, when Tane was fast asleep next to him and half-tangled in the vines that made up the nest next to Tane’s shack.

He slipped into human form carefully, shoving the troublesome bulk of his hair out of the way and started to slowly divest Tane of his shirt, unable to keep from carefully tasting Tane’s skin as his mage murmured something under his breath sleepily (and it sounded an awful lot like ‘damn horny dragon’ and only egged him on).

Tane’s fingers sank into his hair when his fingers found Tane’s breeches, teasing at the skin just beneath the waistband. He tugged gently, drawing Balron up, and Balron grinned at him obligingly moving to steal a kiss, Tane’s silver eyes dark in the moonlight.

“Stupid dragon.” Tane muttered against his lips, and Balron snickered before kissing Tane again, more urgently because it had been ages too long since he’d been able to do more than nudge at Tane playfully. Tane groaned softly into his mouth, kissing back desperately and shifting beneath him in a manner that was dizzying and inviting at the same time, and Balron snickered because Tane had closed up the front of the little nest-cave and that could only mean one thing.

“Don’t ever do that again.” Tane hissed, tugging at his hair again. Balron didn’t answer (he’d do it again before he let Tane get hurt, and he was much more interested in Tane’s skin than Tane’s words). Tane didn’t press, and Balron proceeded to show Tane how much he’d missed touching and tasting Tane in the previous weeks.

But EEEE <<<3333 They're cuteness is exceeded only by their hotness, and really it's damned close. I lvoe Balron, so touchy feely right from the start and how Tane grumbles and mutters but is so totally pwned ^_______________^

::laugh:: I can't help it? The big projects are scaring me slightly so I must drabble. ^__~

Heh. Tane's irritableness and the way Balron just ignores him/finds him funny are far too fun to play with, especially when they're smexing. ^__~

::glomps:: Um... drawing a blank. ^__^;; The thing I really most want to see is the Jade-Pyotr get together scene, but I think I must wait until the story gets there... so, um, perhaps I'll think of something later? ^___^

Poor Balron, so many weeks of looking but not being able to go all the way (or touch with human hands). Abstinence makes the heart hornier. For serious. ^_^
