Fsking boxes x_x
Jun. 8th, 2007 07:07 pmHave been put back into the fileroom. It is both cool that I know how to do everything at work and verra tiring. But I have no complaints, really, I like being that capable. But today we had to pull files, move other files, and since the shelves are stuffed we've stored a lot in boxes. 200+ boxes. Which are stacked 6/7 high. We had to move them all, go through them, then put them back in order x__x *dedz0r now*
Fallen behind on book club *fails* But! I do finally have the books ^____^ So starting this weekend, will read A Hero of Our Time and then start Memoirs of Hadrian and I have a new illustrated versio of Salem's lot with new scenes added and I have yet to crack into Legends of the Samurai
Not to mention the stuff I bought awhile back and haven't read yet b/c I've been on a King thing for awhile. I luffs him so, yus. He talked in one of his books about how after he published Riding the Bullet as an ebook he got mobbed in airports and yet no ever told him how much they liked the story -- just noticed it was doing really well (it made sick amounts of money apparently) and I remember reading that the first time I read Everything's Eventual and all I still think is that people are bloody fucking stupid =_= I would kill to meet Gaiman or King or any of my other beloved authors and these people were that goddamn lucky and they probably had never read any of his stuff beyond that one story. Gods. I've read It three times, most of his other novels at least once, all his short stories at least twice -- I would fucking DIE to meet Stephen King in an airport and have the chance to finally fangirl and then tell him that I only love him to death because my mother did first and could he please sign something for her? I'll never be that lucky.
Ah, well. I have lots of pretty books to read. *_* And beer. And salad if I could summon the energy to go make it. Also am working on Becket's story, and guess I must ponder how the fuck to butcher faeries.

Date: 2007-06-09 01:04 am (UTC)Your work sounds intresting, if not rather time-consuming and filled with teh stoopid ones.
Don't sweat the Faeries; They're really small in the scale of things to come anyway.
.....Did...did I just make a pun on accident?...Oh God I did....

Date: 2007-06-09 02:56 am (UTC)He intro-ed The Shining for the pre-release of the movie. He did the teacher admonishment of how honored we were to get to see it before it came out in theatres and that we better be good.So sat with my fingers in my ears and eyes screwed shut through some scenes. I'm such a whimp.
