When I see this it makes me want to hang myself… how come there are people out there who couldn't draw to save their lives and other can just show up with work such as this? I tell you life is not fair.

It takes practice. Years and years of scribbling on every spare scrap of paper and trying out god-knows-how-many different techniques and styles. And even then only a fifth of my stuff turns out nicely, even on a good day. I mean, as far as I can tell it's not really any different from learning how to play an instrument or perform heart surgery.
