But Meiki at the trial - God, I'd laugh so hard. Giving a lap dance to the opposing side. Trying to hump Baxter - who was fabulous, by the way - and yeah, the Draconis would die off. Of humiliation.

Well, the trial would certainly be more interesting in Meiki were there. . .but not in a way that would promote Draconis survival.

I would really like to hear more about the Shatterstar! Any ship that annoys Tau Ceti so much he uses it as a curse word must be interesting! Even Cornelius doesn't have that honor. Also, I would love to read femslash. If you've written any, I haven't found it.

XD Well, I'll have you know that I thought it was more of a 'disappear' kind of thing - where, when they became Pyotr's 'Pets', and there was too much background and shnazz, they'd be declared 'dead' never to be seen in politics again. Of course, that's also just him saving his own hide, because I can totally see the two collaborating to make The Princess' time in court difficult and whatnot. That way, the court would be saved... I think I thought that through a bit much. XD

Actually, I never thought they really were dead. I figured that due to the whole secret-ship-not-supposed-to-exist thing, Jei and Meiki wouldn't be able to go to the trial. And, plus, Pyotr knows what Meiki is like, he'd never let the cutie go to the trial and ruin everything by being his usual super-perky self. So, y'know, Pyotr and the others faked Jei and Meiki's deaths.

but, after reading the reactions of people, and them pointing out you do generally stick with goodness and light where even the 'villain gets a pretty' i feel kinda dumb.

in defense, where are the pets and what are they doing? what the hell is TAU CETI up to? is he gonna bust in the middle of of jade and pytor FINALLY having hot kinky monkey sex and start demanding answers, only to have sigma have to drag him out before his marvelous brain melts at the sight of pytor and jade being completely oblivious to the gremlin spectator? or worse, REACTING?

...clearly, my imagination needs to just die.


as for the shattership,do it! i honestly don't care about the pairing so much as the sex thing more as the CHARACTERS themselves. i can't wait to see how the femmeslash works out in your writing.

M's plot hints rock. They're the kind that you can totally miss until after the Big Reveal in which case you go "ZOMGIGETITNOW!!! O.O!!!" ^^;; I swear it's almost more fun reading stories the second time through, because you get to pick up on all the little things you didn't know were important the first time around. ^____^
