Um, there's actually a lot of places that look a bit like that and serve that sort of food? *cough* A name would help. ^^;;;;;;;

And there are quite a lot of good satay stalls around Singapore. I mean, we do nothing but eat, and about half (maybe more) of the TV shows here feature food. :P

I'm fairly sure it isn't the hawker centre at East Coast Park, although the satay there is good too. :D

Aha, I figured, but she said the area was famous for it so I thought I'd ask. Looks tasty. I so miss Asian food. You can't get it around here, unless you settle for fake Chinese or sacrifice your paycheck for real Japanese.

Singaporean food isn't actually Chinese, totally. We have stuff that you can't find in China. I think Singaporean food has probably become an idea on its own. Satay though, is Malay food. :)

Try making okonomiyaki at home? :O It's Japanese.

I didn't say it was Chinese? I just called it Asian.

Yeah, if I could find an Asian market that'd sell the stuff, but there's none I can get to on my own. You would mention of my favorites ;_;

Meep, sorry, stupid brain.

:( Well the only real stuff you'd need is probably the seaweed and the sauces? The rest of it is probably easy enough to get?

I couldn't find okonomiyaki sauce myself. I've given up and gone with tonkatsu sauce instead. Trying it out tomorrow. :x Hope I don't blow the kitchen up or anything.

Nah, you're good ^___^ I'm still barely awake, so really I could be saying anything.

MMmm, tonkatsu. Maybe I could order some of that stuff, amazon has asian stuffs pretty cheap I think.

Yeah, don't blow up the kitchen. I do not want to lose my imp <3

Really? I haven't been there in AGES, so I can't tell.

For [livejournal.com profile] maderr: "lau pat sat" translates to "Old Market". ^^;;;;;
