It's doing the exact same thing to me. I'll get them for a day (or sometimes just an hour) and then none. They'll pick back up again and then... disappear.

I swear I though I was the only one this was happening to.

"A Note About Email Notifications

We've recently seen an uptick in email providers blocking mail from LiveJournal as spam, starting about a week and a half ago. (This includes Hotmail, Cox, and Juno, and a couple others.) When this happens, we try to contact the providers to request that we be unblocked; unfortunately, this is something entirely out of our control -- we can't force them to unblock us -- but we have verified that we are sending out the notifications properly, and we've verified that we're getting errors back from these providers.

I know this kind of sucks, and I'm very sorry for the problems caused by this, but I'm afraid it's not something we can directly control, so we can't fix it as readily. If you aren't receiving notifications, you should talk to your provider to see what's going on; failing that, you might want to change your email address instead."

My gmail account seems to be ok, if you'd want to switch to a different e-mail address.

I can send you a gmail invite, though I think you can sign up for those without one at this point. ^___^ They've got this nifty gmail notifier too, that sits in your taskbar and pops up every time you've got mail (which is awesome and you're obsessive about checking your email like I am).

Oh, I had one that was perfect. They've randomly suspended it for no fucking reason and won't answer my inquiries. So I set up another, but it's annoying, b/c I use my msn for everything and having to switch to another for one stupid damn thing aggravates like nothing. esp. when I have to switch it on LJ, when I've had the msn for years and years, and argh -__- I'm just being whiney.

I have my gmail accounts set up to automatically forward everything they get to my primary account. I just have the one because I figure 'smderr' looks a lot better as an email addy on a resume. *shrug*

Yeah, s'what I do. And maderr was taken -__- as was every other variation. it's really vexing. I have no idea why they suspended my amasour@gmail account. for now I've just got amasourfiction, blah.

How strange. o_O I hope they never do that to mine, it's my primary email. Everything gets sent here.

I guess just email MSN and complain? Maybe if enough people do, they'll get LJ comments and notifications on the approved list and not the spam.
