Currently am reading Night Watch by Sergei Lukyanenko. Saw the movie awhile ago, and liked that well enough. Only eighty or so pages into the book, but so far I like it. Interesting, and I'm curiuos to see how it will all play out, and how much more different it will be from the movie.

Though I can only take so much in the way of vampires at a time, so am also reading a favorite, which I just got in paperback - A Mankind Witch by Dave Freer. It's a sidestory from a series I adore -- the Heirs of Alexandria by Dave Freer, Eric Flint, and Mercedes Lackey. My favorite characters are the two Freer writes -- Manfred and Erik. I'm telling you, the books are worth reading just for them, and there are plenty of other cool characters besides ^__^ I so wish the next book in the series would come out, but I fear they've abandoned it *sigh*. The first two books are Shadow of the Lion and This Rough Magic. Mankind Witch takes place between them.

Also on a whim just recently bought Flesh and Spirit by Carol Berg cause it looked interesting. So far I see it's written in first person, so we'll see. The second one comes out soon, I think.

Hmmm, I should get my hands on 'Night Watch'. Saw the movie and I've been itching to read the books. Maybe when exams finish.

I really enjoyed Flesh and Spirit but I don't mind first person. I read a couple of her other books so I picked it up too. Good to know the new one comes out soon!
