Because it's been asked more than once now
Nov. 1st, 2007 06:34 pmI guess I never quite spelled it out, figuring it would be understood. Obviously everything is not as obvious to readers as it is to the writer. Go figure ^_~
Christian shares all of Sable's power and his immortality. Demon Lords are supreme in power. Their only true peers are one another and their consorts. This power is balanced by the fact that they have the consorts, and are bound to a territory.
Short answer, Chris is immortal and they will both live forever, barring incidents unforseen.
Anything else? Questions for other verses? Believe it or not, I like answering questions and am more than happy to - often the problem is that I have so many comments, I lose track and forget ^^;;;; Bad Megan, no cookie.

Date: 2007-11-02 12:00 am (UTC)As for requests, I have now become addicted to your Geniuses 'verse and have spread my enthusiasm with my dearly departed friend (to Trinidad, not six feet under)with Calvin/Jason. I was hoping you would still be writing stories for that, the slashing of King Arthur, Black Magic, the story under the tag Alvin, Alice's story, Unbreakable, and the last of the dwtd Dragon stories. I don't mind waiting, it's the "why-hasn't-the-author-updated-in-two-years-without-notice" that bugs me.

Date: 2007-11-02 12:07 am (UTC)Ah, Geniuses. I miss writing in that verse *sigh* I was just thinking about it the other day.
King Arthur I wrote as a lark and a joke x_x I never expected people to LIKE it. But I promised my little sister that I'd write her more of it, so it'll appear eventually.
BM I was working on just recently. It needs me finishing the one scene and checking with my collaborator 'cause it involves her chars.
Unbreakable I will be changing drastically, and I don't think people will approve, so I keep putting it off.
I have what, at least three dwtd stories? Priest, Kitsune, Alain, I'd swear I'm forgetting a fourth....
Alvin I'm stuck. It does'nt want to seem to do anything *kicks it*
Alice's story...hmm...I should go look at that.

Date: 2007-11-02 01:31 am (UTC)By this point, I'd have to rewrite the bastard. But I haven't given up on it, just...argh dont' want to rewrite it but improved skillz demand I do so (read: lazy).

Be
(I'm suffering from Jade withdrawal. I need a daily shot of malicious revenge everyday combined with a spike of sexiness and maybe a tad of some Pyotr to complete it)
...
(However, no pressure. I'm not a pressure person. I think that makes people write crappy, when they're under pressure. So... yeah... Relax and have a fun time writing. Don't be like me - rocking back and forth and trying not to tear out my hair while my eyes burn from looking at the PC too long...)

Date: 2007-11-02 02:00 am (UTC)Mm, been trying. Sci fi is my least favorite genre, however, and so often is hard to write. My brain has to be in the mood for it, and for various and sundry reasons of late it has not. Still, I've not given up.

Date: 2007-11-02 10:12 am (UTC)The gods can grant immortality where they choose. Corinos and Fidel are immortal, and Taka is b/c he's not simply Raiden's lover -- he's the center of the Storm Dragons. Without him, their powers would spin out of control, as of all the gods they are the most powerful. The White Beasts are not immortal, as its their purpose to be close to their people in a way the gods cannot. The Pegasus and the Unicorn are gods, so immortal, and they would keep their lovers with them throughout.
Did I cover them all? ^^

Date: 2007-11-02 10:14 am (UTC)Probably not, alas.
I've been editing my fairytales of late, which is a pain in the ass, but it means I'll probably be suckered into attempting one (after I fix the one I butchered last weekend)

Date: 2007-11-02 02:43 pm (UTC)One of the things that has always delighted me is how you find something, some little quirk or grouping, to center the trivial things in your story about. For instance, in Main Gauche, the characters are named for weapons; in Peppermint, the cursing and threats of food is part of what makes Bailey so charming. And there are several other instances too. How do you come up with them?

Date: 2007-11-03 12:41 am (UTC)There's no rhyme or reason to how I come up with them -- Main Gauche was all Sammie, Peppermint I used the food thing once and liked it enough to make it a running gag type deal. more often than not that's what it is, I suppose -- I use it once, and like it enough to weave it througout. Othertimes, it's probably the quirk itself which started the story forming in my head. I'd have to think back to every story to recall what exactly triggered its quirk.

Date: 2007-11-03 04:14 am (UTC)I'm guessing Drache and Fritz are like Dym. Are they immortal?
And is Stefan not considered one of the Nine Gods? Like Teufel.
I love Corinos and Fidel! That drabble for Stone Rose was so hot! There are actually a few drabbles I want to see from that particular LG story, but I don't know if i should sic plotbunnies on you. At least not w/o fair trade.

Date: 2007-11-03 04:26 am (UTC)It is kind of sad how often I think about the lost gods characters...

Date: 2007-11-03 01:06 pm (UTC)Yes, Noire and Verenne are immortal - I suspect at some point Verenne will cease to be a White Beast, but am not certain.
Drache and Fritz are a special case. They're not immortal, exactly, but they'll live an extremely long time so as to repair the damage done when their soul was torn in two.
Teufel was never one of the nine gods. He's made from Licht's shadow, making him about on par with Takara and Dym.
What drabbles did you want to see?

Date: 2007-11-03 01:08 pm (UTC)*luffs you* Have missed your presence, good to see you a bit more often now ^__^
King Cobra, huh? Interesting.

Date: 2007-11-03 06:06 pm (UTC)In Stone Rose, Jorge from Schatten had no shadow:
[It was Culebra who answered, when Jorge remained stubbornly silent. "He has no shadow because he is a child of Licht. All of Licht’s children are so marked; shadows are proof of light. The children of Licht are His shadows. How did you escape Schatten?"]
Sasha must have had a shadow. All the characters from Schatten probably don’t either. It wasn’t mentioned in Chaos at all.
As for drabble ideas:
Drabble 1: Shortly after Stone Rose, Culebra's last worries that Corinos will leave because every other mortal lover he’s had left. And Corinos... makes him feel better. ^-^
Drabble 2: Stone Rose, That fight between Corinos and Granito in the apple orchard to stake a claim on Culebra.
Drabble 3: At the end of each book we always see the gods gather but what about those meetings where the lovers of each god get to know each other the first time. I’m pretty sure the gods would like to know the lovers of their siblings.

Date: 2007-11-03 06:12 pm (UTC)I think I remembered to mention it once, actually. Otherwise, yeah, I kept forgetting x_x Bad Megan.
Hmmm, good drabbles (though, uh, I think #2 might be way longer than a drabble)
Can't work on them now, but I will definitely keep them in mind ^____^

Date: 2007-11-22 03:05 am (UTC)I've been wondering about Bahadur being both a protector and member of the harem. How do they reconcile the two duties? Is he still allowed to go into battle and carry weapons? What about Isra?
And I am happy to hear Black Magic is nearly done. Do you still intend to write Bangkok Princess?
