maderrClairvoyance potion. Now there's an idea *ponderponder* I wonder how hard it would be to make. How hard to drink. Years of training for the former, and probably the same for the latter, and I wonder if oft the two are found together, or have nothing to do with each other. Expensive, probably. On both ends, unless you make it a slavery thing, which would not make sense 'cause someone ill-treated would not be healthy enough to make/drink somethign so complicated and clairvoyance shouldn't be something that comes easy to hand so I would say perhaps 3-5 people in the world are of the proper caliber to make it....which means those who can drink it might actually be a little more common, since obtaining said potion is so difficult.
But a willing drinker or a reluctant one? What would be the side effects of something like that? Could it be focused? Perhaps the potions can be personalized, so to speak, which would very likely entail a three-way bond of maker, drinker, and focus of clairvoyance.
Duration of potion? Power of? Ingredients? Cost? Length of time required to make it?
Ah, now that would be interesting. I wonder if it's important to keep the drinker and the focus apart, for to avoid clouding vision with personal feelings or whatnot.
I wonder if a society could be built where such a thing would have to come with a license, or perhaps is only to be used in extremem situations, or perhaps there are levels of potency to the potion that would require various grades of license and only certan persons can obtain certain grades.
So the question is who wants to know what and how does he go about obtaining???
