It's raining, it's pouring!

maderrSo I was banished to the basement today. There's a little project which came up, and I've always done it, and I guess Boss lady decided to keep me on it, so I got to spend aaaaaaallllll day by myself in a little room with only my ipod and the voices in my head for company. It was bliss.
Then at lunch I tracked down Fuckwit Contact at the place to whom I must pay off the last of my Dark Debt. The asshole said he only had my house number on file, which is not true, b/c he's called my motherfucking cell before. Anyway, got that squared away, next payment set up -- and I was feebly proud of me, cause I hate phones, but I hunted down his number via the magical internets, called the main office, tracked him down from there. The receptionist is an asshole, but that's okay, I kinda understand why they get a bit terse.
Bus driver on the way home had a bit of trouble getting past the cars at one point b/c the rain has fucked up traffic, and people are morons, but he finally squeezed through -- and promptly exclaims "Whoo, that was tight -- and I liked it!" He's awesome ^_^
Now I guess I'd better get to editing knight story ^^
