By the time I finish these knight stories, I will never be capable of speaking modern english, only fake old english. Ah, well. 'Tis not half so bad as when I wrote Kidnapped for so long I caught myself trying to go "Stars take it!" more times than I feel like admitting ^^;;; I think I did slip and actually say it once. Luckily no one was around to give me "WTF is wrong with you?" looks.

Reminds me when I had to take Old English literature for a whole semester. Shakespeare started making sense, and I got scared. Doubly more so, since it still didn't make sense in Romanian, but did in English. ^^;;;

*laugh* That's awesome.

And reminds me how jealous I dumb I feel, that so many of my friends can speak multiple languages, and I always sucked at my language classes.

I think I'd go insane if I had to speak like a Shakespeare play.

You shouldn't feel dumb. With me, foreign languages it's the only thing I'm really good at. Everything else? I more or less suck. You on the other hand write wonderful, enthralling stories, and have a lot of fans all over the world. You should feel accomplished, instead. Because we ♥ you!

Urgh, there is a reason between me changing my major from Literature to Language. Shakespeare making sense was the thing that tipped the glass over, in my case.

it's freaky but I was thinking exactly the same thing when I was reading the knight story. Afterwards I kept forming sentences in my head that certainly would have had heads turning.. teehee..

Can definitely sympathize. Since I work as a writing tutor on campus, I've gotten so used to showing others how to avoid placing prepositions at the end of sentences that now I'm speaking that way. "What are you looking for?" has become "For what are you looking?" and so on. Whenever I do say it like that, people look at me like, "Are you kidding me?" Sigh.

XDD Oh, you're making me giggle in class. >3<

At least you're going to recover from it (O_______O DON'T. Old English is SO AMUSING.). I usually have trouble with all thses foreign languages in my head. >.> Thai and English was bad enough. Mixing French and Japanese up was the last straw.

<333 I want to go read Quest and then Enough again. Nikk is such a bad influence.

Yeesh. Because of your influence I was told at work that I sounded exactly like this woman's brother.. who is nearly hitting 80. 'Tis not my fault, really.
