Jan. 30th, 2008 08:37 pmMy kitty has developed a new trick for getting Megan out of bed. He steals my glasses and makes of them a snack under my bed, so that I am forced to fetch them. Luckily, I have hands and a nighstand drawer. See the little bastard get them tomorrow morning! winz0r!
Bought the last volume of Godchild tonight. Get to read the tragic ending ;;__;; but oh I love this story so verra much indeed.
A girl at work is in love with my ipod. I let her borrow it one day, and not most mornings begin "Megan, I love you. You know I love you more than anyone, right?" It's really funny ^__^
Amy having way way way too much fun with my medieval books. Thank you again, Sky, for the ones you sent. *__* I dunno what it is, but I really love them. Sadly, I am findingy my knight stories are one massive pile of failz0r! but hey, I tried, and they're not totally off...just mostly -__- Ah, well. I did try my best, and if I was too accurate I'm not sure they'd work, so hooray for fantasy setting?
In the bookstore, I again got vastly fucking annoyed by the tendency of every last goddamn modern supernatural book to have half-naked emo! or slutty! chick on the cover. Seriously. It fucking annoys the bloody fuck out of me. That annoyance is no small part of what inspired DwtD. Whether I succeeded in improving the genre or not, I do not know (and I'm not seeking compliments, please don't think that), but for fuck's sake x.x at least Chris is a little different than the other offerings on the menu. If I rant and rave and snarl about vampires and all, it's probably because, at heart, I love and adore supernatural. DwtD ranks easily as one of my top three verses in which to play (the other two being Sandstorm and LG; give me any excuse and I'd probably bore you to death with stories in all three). I hate seeing it as the massive pile of crap which is has become.
Anyway, anyway. I've goofed off enough for one night ^^ Let's see if I can get some writing done before bed.
