Fsking cats

So I have been a worthless fucking bum all weekend. I often rotate locations throughout my house -- my desk, the couch, my bed. This past week I've been working on my bed, which means this entire weekend I haven't really left it (can't help it, this time of year it's the warmest place to be, especially since I've figured out how to block the nasty draft that comes up through the floor. there's a damn breeze right by the headboard, no joke).

Unfortunately, the cats always want me for a kitty bed anyway -- when I'm in my bed, they're about fifty times worse. Right now I'm sort of laying back, head against pillow, propped up on my headboard, knees drawn up so my laptop can sit on my legs -- and Kyo (who is motherfucking heavy x.x) happily esconced across my chest (and all his dratted weight, if this lasts, will turn me from a D to an A, I swear).

There is your cheap amusement for the day.

It IS cold in your room if you have drifts coming up through the floor. You are "the heat source" in the cats' opinion. And they love their "heat source". Ooooor Kyo could be trying to keep you warm. I can assure you that you will not become an A from a D from squashage but you will need the extra lift of a heavy duty bra or one of Sarah's wench bustiers.

::snicker:: At home, my parents have this huge 20lbs. former tom cat. Once he suckered his way inside, he became the sweetest, most adorable lap cat. No matter how you're sitting on the couch, he'll "sneak" onto your lap (by moving slowly, but he is the opposite of stealth) and then become an unmovable, purring lump. ^___^ I miss having cats.

The Hush Sound

Three things stop me from giving you Motion City Soundtrack and Phantom Planet:
(1) I feel like your computer will rise up and kill me if I keep throwing music at it
(2) I am so very lazy and zipping music to contain it within the 100MB mediafire limit takes effort
(3) There is probably a limit to the amount of music I can throw at you at once and expect you to actually listen to

So um, later this week! But I really do like The Hush Sound, so I put forth the effort for them. (The other two aren't bad, per se, just... not remarkable? But if you want them now, just let me know and I'll kick my lazy arse in gear.)

Tell me about it, I have one of two cats always trying to get on my lap, one settles down nicely the other lays on my arm, on my chest (and that would be so nice to go from DD to anything smaller, and I LOVE size watermelon :D), with his head in my way, anyway he can.

Reese is about 20 pounds. But he's not fat. He's very tall,pretty typical of the Turkish Van breed, and thinks that if I'm on the computer he must be lying in front of the monitor, and will stand up as soon as i stop petting the brat.
