For background info, my boss is from Ohio. He talks about it frequently and often. So tonight...

"So what's Ohio like, boss?"

"It's a fabulous state. Awesome place. Did you know...."

"Coolness. What's Cincinnati like?"

"Great city. I used to...."

"A friend is trying to convince me to bum around with her there for awhile."

"It's a wonderful place...."

So it seems like going is a good idea, except my parents don't seem to like it and I'm loathe to do something they dislike that much. I think a lot of it on my part is restlessness and a constant fear that if I don't get out now I never will. But that's probably just my impatient youth getting to me.

Tomorrow I have off and will NOT NOT NOT be answering the thrice damned phone. *grrr* Do you know why they've been calling me in more and more? Because the HM's daughter is pregant and she was a hypochondriac (sp?) already so you can imagine what she's coming up with now. Tonight we got word that once every hour she needs to rest for twenty minutes. *grrrrr* I used to work with dizzy spells bad enough I nearly fell over on several occasions, I think she can work even though she "can't feel the baby moving and must go to the hospital." Never find she's only four months in and I'm pretty damn sure you're not supposed to feel it kicking or whatnot 24/7. But maybe I'm wrong...

Hmm.. from my experience on a Labor and Delivery ward.... No, she does not need to be feeling the baby move every minute at this point. She's a fucking pansy, actually... One of the LT's down in Family Practice is almost due to pop and she still works... I have a girl working on L&D who is almost 30 weeks and she still does all of the heavy duty work on the floor. Girl needs to buck up.

First of All

First of all, fuck the bitch with the baby. She needs to suck it up and deal. My friend Laura was taking 4 classes here at SOAS and she used to have contractions while she was doing Arabic, and she still fucking made it. Isabella is beautiful and healthy and almost 3 months old, so she can suck it. Tell the bitch to go on maternity leave.

Second of all, if you don't suck it up and get the fuck out of that hellpit of despair that you reside in, I will personally drive down there and kick your ass when I get back to the US. Think of it this way:

1. Everyone (except Gomes, and possibly Angela, and of course McLeod has to go and settle her ass down in Washington) will be within graduation--hello, DRIVING distance (it's been a long day so far) of you.
2. Lucas is always in Ohio during the summer visiting his dad. This makes reunions easier, as you two can go together.
3. You need to get the fuck out of that house and into a state where they don't have Little Caesar's. You need to just DO IT. Get enough money for first and last month's rent or some shit, and pick up your shit and START LIVING!!!!

What's the status on SOAS, btw?

GODDAMN BREEDERS...

*ahem*

Get out of your house. Nevermind what your parents want, it's more what you want, especially if you're spending your own money to get the hell out of there. It's not like you'll never see them again.

JUST GO.

AMEN

Well, you should definitely do something.

And everyone needs to do at least a few things that their parents really dislike. I usually do whatever the hell I want. In fact, I should listen to people less often.
Not that I'm saying to not listen to me (a person), therefore not doing what you want to do and listening more to other people. Unless, it's what you want to do.

Dude, the day I can follow exactly what you're saying I'll be very proud of myself. At least you didn't drag space monkey's into the discussion.

Never been down to Cinci, but from what I can tell, the water supply of Northeast Ohio is loaded with mercury and crack. I'm glad I moved here, but I'mma hightail it out as soon as I finish my edumacation.
