So in an effort to revive my company's borin ol' newsletter, they've put out this question thingie. I guess someone or three will get their answers and crap posted in thte newsletter? I was more interested in other things than listening to the latest boring happenings of my company. I'm not a very good employee >.>

Anyway, anyway. The questions are cheezy, typical stuff for the scene, but you know. Everyone on the internets likes to answer cheezy questions. So here you go. The cheezy work meme.

1. What is your favorite part about your job?

The challenge. There's a lot of satisfaction in doing well what makes other people freak, even if it's menial third class citizen crap.

2. What do you consider your greatest professional achievement?

*hysterical laughter* I'm still employed.

3. Describe your dream vacation

Dream vacation would be me, my family, and a few cabana boys (and girls, I'm all about equality), having fun and relaxing with no worries. The rest is details.

4. What is your favorite food?

Insanely hard to say. I like too many things.

5. What is your favorite color?

Midnight blue

6. Who is your favorite band/musician?

Impossible to pick just one. I like way too much music.

7. What is your favorite movie?

Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade

8. What is your favorite television show?

I don't really watch enough TV to say.

9. What is your favorite website?

LJ, I guess. It's my link to all sorts of mischief.

10. Who is your favorite actor/actress?

Christian Bale, Daniel Craig, Harrison Ford...oh, there are far too many. I have no one favorite, really.

11. What is your favorite book?

Oh, gods. I'm not even going to try. Why am I only allowed one favorite? It, Mordred Bastard Son, Good Omens, American Gods... I could probably stop at twenty, maybe, but we'll just move on.

12. What is your favorite magazine?

Eh. I don't read mags.

13. What is your favorite sport?

Swimming.

14. Who is your favorite athlete?

Ian Thorpe, for a whle there...but I have no idea who the main swimmers are anymore.

15. Have you ever been told you look like a celebrity? If so, who?

No.

16. If you could meet anyone, who would it be?

Gods, all kinds of authors. I'd really like to meet Neil Gaimen, or Stephen King. Typically, though, I'm content not to mee the famous people I adore. I'd only humiliate myself.

17. Do you have any traditions?

You know, I really don't get this question. Doesn't everyone? Traditions in regards to what? I have lots. I guess the truest tradition in my family is "no matter what, harass without mercy." An hour after I got mugged, my dad was being a smartass about it. Such is my family.

18. What is your favorite quote?

I'm not really a quotes type of person? I guess the only thing I say with any frequency is from Nightmare Before Christmas, where Jack says "Confound it all, I love it though." Which, is how I feel about a lot of things ^^; But, lofty, wise and or noble quotes are not me, really. Too scattered of mind, I guess.

^___^ When you come to Maine, we will drive to Bangor and stalk Stephen King. It'll be a kick!

More seriously, though, I finally finished American Gods in February. I started it... Nov, maybe? Dunno, was listening to it on tape, and only drive 5 miles to work, so it took a long time, and then the library made me give it back for a month in January so someone else could check it out. Hmph!

But! The point: the last tape of the set was an interview with Neil Gaiman that was so very nice. I attempted to find a soundfile of it just now with google, but wow! There are tons of interviews. Hearing is voice was really cool, though. British accents, you know.^_^ And he had many fun things to say about the creation of American Gods. Very interesting.

I'm such a dork. Anyway, have a great weekend! <3

Wow. This is such a weird coincidence. I just finished reading Good Omens on Wednesday and I still start grinning randomly throughout the day because of how incredibly AWESOME that book is. I found it through fanfic and I just got after waiting for the most ridiculous amount of time. Umm yep, that's pretty much all I wanted to say. I'm probably going to read American Gods next.
