I thought it was kinda neat
Mar. 20th, 2008 04:59 pmSo I got off work early today, b/c IKON is cheap about overtime (unless you're my roommate).
Anyway. Was on the bus today, finally got a seat after a few people got off, and was idly looking around when I saw a guy holding a book. Couldn't see it well, but I knew that cover damn it, and the little bit of the author's name. Sure enough, when he finally moved a bit, I saw he was reading a torquere book ^_^ I never see people just reading slash, homoerotica, etc. I figured I was the only one who dared read them on the bus. The book in question was It's How You Play the Game by Willa Okati. I, myself, am not a fan of Okati -- but I know she's popular and well-loved, and it's just plain cool anyway to see someone else reading such books ^___^ He was like late forties to fifties, tired as anythihng. Poor Guy was struggling to stay awake, I think the book was the only thing helping. So go Torq and Okati, though you hardly require my two cents.
On that note, I'm going to go make myself finally wash those damned dishes so I can spend the rest of the night writing guilt free.
